  • Ok to all the women who feel like there is a double standard, here is the deal. There is...sort of. Yes women do also naturally have hair, but they also do naturally have less than men. Basically society and style tell us to accentuate our gender specific traits. Women accentuate features like their boobs, curves, eye lashes, etc. more so than they naturally appear because it makes them look more feminine and there for attractive. Reducing the amount of body they hair they have is the same idea. It's no different that using a push up bra to make your boobs look bigger than they naturally are. Guys do the same sort of things, hair just isn't as much one of them.

  • No, it's called being a man...and if you are looking for a woman who is looking for a man, you should have armpit hair.

    • human beings are supposed to have armpit hair, that's why it grows on both men & women. your argument is bullsh*t. masculinity isn't a male trait. women & men are both endowed with femine & masculine qualities.

anyways we have hair for a reason, its not more or less natural in women or men. you like how it LOOKS. it has nothing to do with nature.

  • I think it's really funny that guys judge women on liking a guy without much body hair, while forgetting that women are also naturally hairier than society dictates is attractive. Why is what is "masculine" is what is natural and easy and what is feminine is not? That being said, I'm cool with armpit hair on guys. It's neither a turn on or a turn off. I don't really think about it very often, unless it's out of control. But I don't really "get" the double standard.

    • because society, that's why

    • It's weird that society can impact what we find attractive and unattractive, I guess is what I'm saying. Most of our turn-ons seem to be hardwired, but then again, many of them do not. The whole thing is a curiosity to me.

    • hair is just a masculine trait, and masculine traits don't look good on females

  • yes, I think it looks hideous. no better on men, than women. esp because men sweat more. & have stronger sweat scent. disgusting.

human beings , men & women, naturally have armpit hair. but aesthetically, I think everyone loos 100% better without armpit hair. its cleaner too.

    • you like the prepubescent look, nice ;)

  • Keep it trimmed or shaved.

  • No, unless it's super long and unruly and/or has visible deodorant residue in it, lol. In which case, trim it down a little or use a gel or spray type deodorant.

  • no.

  • For me, it's all about length. If it's coming out of your t shirt sleeve with your arms down (I've actually seen that before), it's time to trim it. But hair on men is fine in moderation. :)

  • No it is not

  • It would be a turn off if a guy didn't have armpit hair.

  • No, men are suppose to have armpit hair.

    It's masculine.

    • I know that men and women have arm pit hair. It's out of the norm if a woman doesn't shave hers and if a man does. Surely, in certain places women keep their arm pit hair. Well, that's in my opinion. So, sue me. xD It's masculine to me, when a guy has arm pit hair. Shows that he's manly.

  • No. Visible deodorant in the hair is.

  • Guys should have some. It's good when they keep it trimmed though.

  • for me its not.

  • No, its natural and normal for all guys to have it.

    • its natural for women to have it too. do you shave?

    • I shave mine, yeah. But I've always been around men who have armpit hair that it would be weird to see it completely shaved on a guy.

  • Not to me, it's natural for men.

Doesn't bother me at all that my boyfriend does

    • its 'natural' for women too. your answer is bullsh*t, unless you don't shave.

    • You're comment is bullsh*t of you're to stupid to understand that by natural I mean socially acceptable for men. Don't be a dumbass use that brain a little bit honey... Ik it's hard for some people.
