Little brother has been creeping me out?

I'll catch him starring at my crotch...Sometimes he just stares at me. I've looked at him before and he was looking at my boobs. Has anyone else had this happen? I know its an odd question. Insight on my brother. He will be 19 this month. He is borderline mentally handicapped, which means he is a little slow but he's pretty with it. An "Average Person" if you will, just a little slow. He also has some mental issues. He is slightly bipolar and skitzophranic. He was homeschooled and has no friends, he pretty much spends time with the family, my mom a lot, and stays home. My mom and I are practically around him all the time. Sometimes I have to stay home and not do something just so I can watch him, its okay sometimes but sometimes I just want to get out of the house and get away from him. I know this sounds pretty odd too but I've had horrible dreams where he tries to rape me...When I was younger my oldest sibling would try to touch me and he would let his friends touch me so I don't know if that has anything to do with the dream. I don't know. Is his behavior normal for a boy that has never had a girlfriends and is really not around anyone but family? I know he has a crush on my friend. Sometimes though he just really creeps me out.

Okay so I just told my mom. I have three other siblings and she said that she wants to see if they will do more with him. I told her I understand that he's not around any other girls really and that he is curious but he needs to stop and she agreed. She said that we will have to figure something out. Like I said I have three older siblings and we're going to see if they will do more with him and get him out more.

  • I can kind of understand why he acts like that. How is someone so sheltered supposed to learn how to act around the opposite gender? You and your friend are in his target age group and the only girls he spends time around?

    • I'm 21 and she just turned 20...I see what your saying. Yes he is very sheltered. My mom used to put him in programs but as he got older he was to old for them and he hasn't been in any in awhile. He just graduated so we're working on finding him a job. Hopefully that will help.

    • I know a couple of guys like that and it's kind of sad knowing they'll probably never get to experience that side of life... They're aren't too many girls out there that find that kind of guy attractive. Give kid a break, just because he's slow doesn't mean he doesn't have all the same urges the rest of us have. I work at a school and you'd be surprised how much masturbation goes on with the special ed kids. They lack impulse control and just kind of do what feels good to them.

    • He wasn't exactly in special ed but I get what you're saying. When I was in high I volunteered in the special ed classroom. I'm not mean to him or anything, at least I try my hardest not to be...Its just sometimes he gets to me.

  • you might want to tell your mother about that

but I don't think you should worry too much

about it, I mean, you're siblings, right?

    • How should I go about starting a conversation like that though? It's gonna be really uncomfortable but I will be even more uncomfortable if it doesn't stop...

    • I don't think I have anything to worry about. He is my little brother and I know he loves me as a sister he just creeps me out sometimes.

    • I can't imagine it'll be easy to start a conversation about that, but you could always start it the typical "so, I have this friend ___" way? ^-^

  • Just tell your mom, the reason he does that is because he doesn't see any girls so don't take it personally.

    • I try not to but sometimes its just weird...Its hard not too. I know though, but thank you.

    • Totally understandable, and no problem, if you wanna talk anytime just message me :)

    • Okay thank you. I really appreciate it and I'm sure you'll get my update but I did talk to my mom and she said we'll figure something out. If it comes down to it she will just talk to him.

  • Since being a 19 year old with raging hormones and never around anyone but family is abnormal, its gonna lead to abnormal behavior.

Honestly, if he's sort of with it, he needs to try to find an outlet. He is likely to need help with that.

    • He does see a psychiatrist.

    • Right, and the psychiatrist is telling him how to get laid?

    • No I was just saying he does see someone he could talk too if needed.

  • Get him a hooker.

  • he is just curious since he isn't around many girls and he has never had a Girlfriend to do stuff with.

    • That was kind of a thought I had, just being his sister though. Yeah it creeps me out but I get what your saying.

    • does he get on the computer or anything? does he have access to p*rn or anything. because that can make him want to see what boobs or p**** looks like too...make him even more curious about seeing a girls body in real life. it is creepy but he is really just curious. if he got with a girl I sure he wouldn't be looking at you anymore...although you never know...

    • Honestly I don't ever see him getting a girl. And yes he has his very own laptop.

  • Just flash him once and he'll leave you alone. If that doesn't work talk to your mother about it.

    • Meh. I think I might just talk to my mom though.

    • LOL well there you go problem solved.

  • Not really normal but then again I always went to public schools, had friends, and went to parties, so there were plenty of girls to dream about. If he literally sees no other girls and has no access to p*rn it's possible his hormones are going crazy lmao. He needs to get out of the house somehow! Bring him somewhere public where there are girls so he can at least see other girls.

    • Porn, he has his very own laptop. I've taken him out a few times but if he doesn't want to go anywhere or I'm not doing something he likes he won't go.

    • Ask him what he's looking at the next time you see him staring. He might really be checking you out and stop if you confront him or he could just be staring into space.

    • I have asked him if I could help him before when he as just starring but I think directly asking what he's starring at might be better. Thank you.
