Ya like every guy I've every been with I've been shy because I feel like they are looking at my flaws. I'm especially shy if the guy thinks I'm fat, I also won't get off if I'm too shy in front of the guy. The girl was probably afraid that you were not going to like what you saw. No I'm not confident about it down there I'm always afraid that the guy will think its gross or something. If you have sex with her again try to make her feel like she's pretty.
She is not very used to guys doing that, so that could be the reason why she felt uncomfortable. Other reasons could be insecurity.
