  • Clearly, you're misunderstanding some things.

Your vaginal cavity is essentially a tube, with bands of muscles. Near the opening, a thin layer of skin mostly closes off the entrance to the hole; that's the hymen. Imagine a toilet-paper tube (the vagina) with a sheet of rubber stretched over the end (the hymen), except the sheet of rubber has a smaller hole in the center, usually a bit bigger than a finger's diameter. Like all body parts, there are variations in the size and thickness of the hymen, with some women having almost none (the vaginal opening is almost unrestricted), some having thin, easily broken hymens, and some having thicker, tougher ones. A few women may even have completely closed hymens, and require a doctor to cut a hole.

Anyway, if you try to put a large-enough object inside you (a penis, obviously, but also a dildo, several fingers, a hair-brush handle, whatever), it will be too big for the smaller hole in the hymen, and if you continue to force it in, the hymen will tear, usually causing some pain and blood. It may take several sessions for the hymen to be torn completely, so a girl might have pain the first few times she has sex, or maybe just the first time, depending. But once the hymen is torn, it would require surgery to restore, and even that isn't always possible. Most women wouldn't WANT it restored anyway; they are happy that it's gone.

On a related note, when a girl has sex regularly, her vaginal muscles get excercised and are a bit easier to stretch, so it's easier for objects to fit inside. This is often incorrectly referred to as "being looser", but it just means that initial penetration is easier. If she stops having sex (i.e. penetration) for a couple of weeks, her muscles won't stretch quite as easy, and she'll seem "tighter" the first time or two until her muscles get used to stretching again.

  • the hymen shrinks a little I think...

the thing about the hymen that most people do't know it that its not a little wall, its a hole.

look up actually pictures of a hymen and you'll see its actually thread that isn't broken, just ripped and stretched.

  • Your cherry breaks after you have sex with most girls. Some girls feel it, others don't. Either way, not having sex won't bring your hymen back. So no, the hymen is no longer intact after sex, even if you wait a while before the next time.

  • your hymen either breaks or doesn't but eventually it will, for many it is after having sex once for others it is a few times. that is, if it hadn't broken before sex.

    it doesn't grow back.

  • You'll end up dieing in the HR while the doctor tries to intact your hymen.

  • hymen won't intact but you can get much tighter with kegel
