Trim the hair so it's pretty short, soak in a long bath to soften the follicles. Make sure you use shave cream and have a new and sharp razor. The ones with the moisturizer built in are pretty good. I like to use men's razors to be honest. They have more blades, are sharper, and I feel like since their for men's faces, they're gentler.. and made for coarser hair. Shave WITH the direction of hair growth (shaving against the direction usually results in crazy ingrown hairs and razor burn) Be very careful and pull the skin taut to avoid cuts and scratches.. I've never cut myself down below but a few friends have nicked themselves and said it hurts like a bitch. If you want it to be smoother, still don't shave against the direction of hair growth but across (like from side to side.. so if the hair grows down like this "|" shave across like this "_") Make sure you exfoliate, wash and moisturize regularly. You'll probably get ingrown hairs over the next several days so don't wear anything too too tight like spandex bike shorts or super tight undies. Go commando to bed for minimal friction. You can also buy razor bump cream from the drug store if you do get ingrown hairs. The more regularly you shave down below the less ingrown hairs you get it seems.

Thank you so much!

I know you said girls only but you might also want to see if he has a preference or not. There's different ways to hint around the fact instead of just coming out and asking him, lol. Some guys don't care if you completely shave or not. It has been a big fad for about the past 15 - 20 years to completely shave. However, from reading my wife's magazines (and being with my wife), lol less and less females are completely shaving bare. I personally love the natural or only trimmed around the bikini line look but hey everyone is different.
You said that you already trim. That might be good enough for him. Just trying to save you the hassle of keeping up with the shaving just in case you don't even have to do it :-). However, it might be something you want to do for yourself.1 0 0 0Thank you! I already know he prefers it..unfortunately. I would prefer not to have to shavebut I am going to for him.
Ok well at least you know what he prefers. It's just a shame that you're not able to keep it the way you like. He should accept it the way you are but you are being understanding.
Yea, I guess I don't mind it entirely because I love him. But yea, I have just always trimmed and never really wanted to shave, so I haven't known how exactly lol
