if breasts are equivalent to a.male chest why is it considered as sexual? why do girls get so uncomfortable.if even a cleavage shows up?

Breasts have been sexualized in many societies, usually by the pesky missionaries that used to show up, tell everyone they were heathens, and force them to cover up or suffer the consequences (oh, and we'll take all your gold and art, too). Go to a European beach some time, watch their television shows, and look at their ads. Boobs everywhere, not a big deal until some person from a more prudish culture comes along and either makes snarky comments about how obscene it is, or makes an utter fool of himself by trying to pretend he's not really taking pictures of the boobs all over the place.

Honestly, they're just fat-filled sweat glands...

Men have breast tissue, but very little of it. the only thing shown is a mans pecs. Also male nipples are useless so they're not special.

A girl has a lot of breast tissue and working milk ducts. When you are a baby and being breast fed boobs symbolize warmth, food, protection. they are very important.

When you get older the feeling you get for boobs at infancy make you "crave" them. making it sexual. Also a womans nipples have thousands of nerves that can be stimulated to produce pleasure, making them sexual

This is a really interesting question! I have thought about this too, that like when girls are young people don't see it as such a big deal if she's running around shirtless, and men can be shirtless. Something about when they developed fully they are seen more in a sexual way. I don't know why that is but its interesting. Looking forward to more answers to this.

People argue that it's because female breasts are an "erogenous zone" but there's a wide variety of sensitivity among male AND female nipples so I think that's bull. We've just turned it into a sexual thing (and it's not just girls who enforce it; men are sexually attracted to them even in a nonsexual context).

Likely because they are a secondary sex characteristic, combined with the fact that society has made them into a "private" area (we're expected to keep them hidden, which makes seeing them more taboo and arousing).

Breasts are a sexual characteristic in females. It's stupid to think that they are just for feeding babies, so therefore they should be out in the open. That's foolish. Men are also attracted to them because they are the most obvious outward sign of sexual maturity. It signals that a woman's body (if not her mind) is ready for sex and reproduction.

Breasts are NOT just for babies. Think of how stupid that is. Is a penis just for urination? Or even just for intercourse? Is a mouth for eating or speaking? Or is it for oral sex? You see the point. Breasts are every bit as related to sexual attraction and sexual excitement as they are for feeding babies.
