I would normally say, No, you don't have to worry about it, unless the guy is like Dracula, but I found an article that was just pure dumb luck...or more misfortune.
It would seem that a girl from New Zealand got a hickey, and she had an artery that had been sucked on and had bruised. The article goes on to say that the bruise formed a clot which dislodged and went to her heart, causing a 'mild stroke'.
I can't post the article because I'm not a high enough member on 'Girls as Guys', but if you go on 'bing' and type in 'Death by Hickey', you should find the article.
On a personal note, I love biting a gals neck, and having it bit in return. I don't think it's anything to be TOO concerned about...that article is more like a 'House M.D.' case0 0 0 0Hmm, I see. That's interesting, but you're right, it's probably one of those incidents that only occurs once or twice.

I've never experienced my boyfriend biting my neck before because I haven't met him in person, since we're in a long distance relationship. He lives in another country and hopefully, when he finishes college and university, we'll get to meet up. But anyways, depending on how deep or how hard the bite is, it could cause some damage. But if your boyfriend bites your neck softly, then you should be okay.
