Well, when I was around your age, D cup would have been considered big, quite big actually. It seems now, with all the breast implants floating around out there, today a D cup is seen as barely above average.
If you're fat, its normal, if you're average, its pretty big, if you're slim, its huge.
I was average back then, now I'm slim.
Then that's big.
I'm fat and lots of guys notice my boobs so they must still stand out as big.
D is definitely above average. I doubt you were a D cup at age 9 but if you're fat or chunky or obese then maybe that's why you can't tell that your boobs are big.

Yes, D is big / above average. The average bra size for an American woman is about 36C or so. This has actually increased in the last 20 years because of the obesity epidemic (average used to be about 34B in the 1990's).
Above average. The average is a C I think. For a 16 year old girl, that's definitely above average. If you are happy with the way they look, and how they make you feel, then good for you.

I would say that is a good size.
D cup is average, but luke somebody else said if your chunky than you can't really tell if you and your friends look alike.. but D cup is average
