Is watching a movie code for sex?

I realize I can't say always but for the most part I've noticed when a guy asks if I want to see a movie at his house it's code for sex. I was on a really good date last night and at aboutb10:30 we were trying to think what to do next and he said we could go back to mine and watch a movie, we ended up going to a club instead. He doesn't seen at all like a guy who is just trying to get sex from me, but was that guy code for at least a make out session?

  • I don't think it necessarily means that for every guy, and maybe this guy wasn't necessarily going to try to have sex with you, but it is kind of a strategic way to have privacy and be a little closer, cuddle, kiss, make out etc. and possibly have sex without outright having to say hey lets go somewhere alone and be intimate.

  • if not sex then most definitely he was wanting to get closer and be alone with you and that normally leads to kissing, making out and something even better if you were down for it. how many dates have you been on? how long have you known him?

    • It was a first date, we've known each other about a week

    • yeah I don't blame you for not doing it that's too soon and too much pressure to be alone. You made the right choice even if he wasn't planning on trying anything.

    • I really don't think he's the type to try anything without obvious hints---- but more to the point I actually like him and as he's extremely good looking, I might of jumped him, so it's best I at least wait until the second date before I rip his clothes off...

  • Yes usually it is at least for my boyfriend and me.

  • Mostly yes, not as a rule though.

  • It depends on the guy but it doesn't have to be.
