Foreskin Restoration :Dorsal Slits or do I have something else up?

am a 22 year old male...cut as a baby. Recently I became interested in foreskin restoration. I did some manual tugging for a week or so. But a few days ago, I mentioned that I have a lot of skin that is scrunched up just below my head...but I can stretch that skin out a long way and even pull it over my head. Another guy on a restoration forum showed me some pics of a dorsal slit...it looked almost exactly like mine. However, I was shown others that look like they have a lot of skin haning over the head...mine is scrunched up just below the head. Does anyone have any insights on my condition? I was wondering because I've been told traditonal restoration may not be best for me...I was told if I have a dorsal slit...reconstructive surgery might be better. Would a urologist be able to give me the lowdown...and maybe give me reccomendations on restoration/surgery?

  • First, good for you.
Second a dorsal slit is most common in the Philippines. Where the muslim rituals have crossed over into the Christian population there.
Third that is something you should go to a foreskin friendly doctor and ask his opinion - were you circumcised or given a dorsal slit (they are very different). Once you KNOW what you have then you know if or how to stretch it. Without this knowledge you are working blind.
Note also, many who have tried to restore their foreskin have taken months and even years to get it to where they want it so be patient if you do get into it.

  • If your skin is sore then you're using too much tension. Slow and steady wins the race. Keep your head up, you'll get to where you want to be.

  • Just curious, what exactly is the point of foreskin restoration? You don't get the same sensitivity back because the material was literally severed, right? so what's the point?

And is it even safe or medically recommended to stretch out a circumcised penis like that? sounds ouch. :/

    • from what I hear..u get a lot of sensitivity back..the skin covers the head and bring back sensitivity and protects it from further exposure/damage...i kno I can't get it all back...but I feel like I gotta do it..and I've only been tugging for a few weeks and it does get sore...but its not extremely painful...and it doesn't compare to how emasculated and bad I feel about my body because of missing part of my penis...so its something I feel I just need to do.

    • Seriously, go talk to a doctor okay. All this tugging may not be good for you. It's never going to be 100% the same as when you were born. I've had two minor surgeries and surgery severs nerve endings...just an FYI.

    • i don't think its bad at all.. most doctors don't know about restoration...but there's tons of forums and online info and its a very popualr practice and the intactivist community...i don't believe I'm doing any harmful and like I said... any pain or discomfort is worth it (and its seriosuly isn't bad..just some soreness)

  • Yikes. Yeah go talk to a doctor.

Remember that a girl is not going to be as obsessive about this as you are.

It sort of sounds like you plan on becoming a p*rn star.

I mean I like foreskin and everything but I would never hold it against a guy if he doesn't have it.

    • no...not atll I'm actually virign...i just wanna have a good sex life with my future wife and not have any issues and have her be satisfied with me...i will admit though that it makes me feel inferior in the bedroom since all girls have fully intact sex organs and I dont...i also don't like that id be feeling less pelasure than her and she probably is aware of that.

  • Here we go again, same question every day, why do you ask this same question all the time? Instead of worrying about your penis being circumcised, why don't you focus on getting a gf?
