Well,  I have just been wondering about this lately.  I am in my early 20s and have had sex with only two women.  The first was in a pretty long relationship and the sex was insane - really depressed that I can't see reliving those days.  After a few months, we were having sex one night and just before she was about to cum, I slipped a finger into her ass.  She really went wild and came pretty hard. I haven't done it but any of my female friends who have it have said it was sore and painful. I do think it would depend on how you do it though. You can't shove your thumb in a girls ass during sex! Like bring it up with her beforehand. Personally I would only consider doing it if I was with a guy a year plus-like serious relationship and I could tell him if I liked it/didn't like it cos if its a new relationship, its harder to say no to certain things cos you're not sure if they like you or not.

Some girls just don't like it and if they dont, then you should not push her. Anal sex is hardly a requirement, its more like icing on a cake if anything. I had a male friend who once told me that he preferred anal sex to regular sex which I thought was a bit weird. He was definitely bisexual/gay so that could explain that preference. I mean, I wouldn't mind a guy liking anal sex but preferring it to regular?! Please tell me that is not normal! I think it can be degrading to women if its not within a serious relationship because the woman is in such a subservient position whilst the guy is the one getting all the pleasure. Its about control, not about what the woman wants at all. I would definitely prefer regular sex cos you get to look at them when/if you come so it makes it more intense and special.

Anal sex is great! I think maybe you rushed it a bit with the second girl and should have talked a bout it first. As I've already said to a couple other questions, anal sex can give both you and the girl some of the best orgasms you'll ever experience, no joke! You just have to make sure you warm up properly, and such.

I am in my early twenties as well and totally open to anal. Though I have only had one partner in the past, I know I would do it again in the future, though I would probably wait some time before doing it with whomever I end up dating next (as I even wait some time to have sex as well.)

But to be honest, I think girls who haven't tried it whose guys want to, should give it a chance. It can really be one of the best sexual experiences you will ever have! Just keep an open mind and keep trying it. The firrst time or two may be a little painful but after that its epic.

i'm okay with a finger in there (but only one!) and I actually think it feels good during sex.  my guy did it once when I was giving him a blowjob (or more like 69) but it didn't feel as good...that's why I say its okay DURING sex. This is one post that makes me shudder hard; I have no emotional reaction to most things. There are a few guidelines to anal persuasion including:

1. Never do anything by surprise. The risk of injury to the other person is too great. If they tense up you risk injuring them. The risks include bleeding around the anus and tearing of the surrounding tissues; both of which are no good as the former exposes both of you to disease transmission while the latter is very painful.

2. Remember to use lubrication. The anus does not have a Cowper's gland nor the benefits of natural lubrication as the vagina possesses.

3. Every person reacts differently to anal. Males react more positively to it due to the direct stimulation of the prostate. Females are not stimulated in the same way.

4. Use protection due to risk of disease transmission. A thicker dental dam is advised if you are orally stimulating the reigon albeit this is very uncommon.

This genre of intercourse is not widespread. Research by several independent groups places the incidence at around seven percent of females.

Depends on your sample set. 8-15% overall but those women tend to be smarter/better educated. I would guess the vast majority of women I have had sex with have tried it several times and most of them enjoy it when they can get it.  In fact, one of my current girlfriends complains that she can't find other guys who are wiling to have anal sex.
