Do you think I could be pregnant?

Last time any sexual contact happened, we tried a little bit of penetration ( condom on) he was too big so we ended up stopping due to my pain. I got him off and he came, got out of bed and washed up a bit. Laid back down and he was still a little frisky, so he touched me a bit but then we tried penetration again, without a condom, he managed to push himself in a few times, but then pulled out because it hurt badly again. I wondered about pre - come as he's had a bit of pre - come before after ejaculating. I'm worried he may have gotten some pre - ejaculate in me during the brief penetration. What are the chances there was semen in his pre - cum? I've felt a little under the weather lately, but I'm especially concerned now, as I woke up with pressure and a dull pain on the lower left side of my abdomen. The sex attempt happened less than a week ago, 6 or so days. Been told that's the usual time an egg would implant to the uterus which could cause cramp like pain and spotting :( I don't know if I would call the pain cramps; just more like pressure and an ache. I'm scared because I don't know if it's an ecloptic pregnancy potentially, if the ovary is twisting or something? Or if it's maybe my colon having issues? Or if I'm even pregnant at all? There's no early pregnancy symptoms, my breast aren't tender, no mood swings, had one case where I urinated within 2 hours of each other, no spotting ( well I bled from him trying to penetrate - there was blood on the condom when he went to throw it out ) no food cravings or anything. I felt pretty normal despite some bowel irregularities and weakness up until these weird abdomen sensations :(

  • The chances of you being pregnant are small, but some of the previous answers are missing a key point: your guy had just recently ejaculated, meaning his tubes were full of sperm. And while pre-cum usually doesn't contain sperm, that is NOT the case with a recent ejaculation, where anything recently left in the tubes gets pushed out by the (normally sperm-free) seminal fluid coming behind it. So the possibility is increased significantly compared to if he hadn't recently ejaculated.

Still, the odds are against you getting pregnant. Even with a full internal ejaculation, it's not like women get pregnant every time, or even most of the time. And what happened here was not that. In all likelihood, these "symptoms" have nothing at all to do with pregnancy, and are either dietary or related to your stress.

You still took a foolish risk. Either you need to use condoms EVERY TIME, NO EXCEPTIONS, or you need to get on hormonal birth control. Don't continue to play Russian Roulette, because sooner or later, you'll lose.

    • I'm aware. That's the thing that scares me, he doesn't always pre - come after, or it's a really small amount ( not even a drop,) he either did the brief seconds he was in, or didn't and I'm just freaking myself out. My colon area feels so dull and achey, I've had sorry tmi diarrhea for a few days prior and it feels outside my uterus?

    • Those aren't pregnancy symptoms. But keep in mind that a small drop of semen can contain millions of sperm. Apparently men each produce 1500 new sperm every second. So be smarter in the future, for your sake! :)

    • definitely! I'm going celibate this just shows me I'm not ready for the potential consequences of sex

  • Slim chance. And that, too, if you ovulated before or after 2-3 days of discharge.

Sperms, generally have life of 48 hours. So if you had Ovulated on, lets say, day 0 and discharge happened on day 2, there are chances. If discharged on,lets say, day 0 and you ovulated on day 2, there are chances, too. But when there is normal discharge during intercourse. Why normal discharge? Because it has enough sperms and supportive liquid.

Pre ejeculation has little chances of having healthy semen. I don't know about post ejeculation. Wats that?

First of all, check if your Ovulation date was in proximity of ejeculation or not.

if you know how to and when to use pregnancy kit, use it so you are no more tensed.

    • okay not sure how to calculate ovulation, I feel like I may be ovulating now actually ( increase in cervical mucous, feeling more antsy / sexual) I was going to see if my period came soon it's estimated for the 22 or 25th but they've never been regular so have to see

    • Ovulation occurs, generally in the middle of cycle. If cycle is of 28 day then ovulation will be most likely on 14th day. So 12-16 is a danger zone.

    • It should, but it's not. Most women cycle is changing, and may become pregnant and 27 days cycle

  • I'd say your chances are low. It's too early for a test. If it were me, I'd go to the doctor and describe the abdominal pain, but I wouldn't explain it as a possible pregnancy because I think that's about the furthest thing down the line that it could be.

    • okay, I took a prego test a couple days ago for another related matter that happened a few weeks prior to this event ( he came on my hand - it dried into an " oil " like texture and I rubbed it on him and the bed a bit, he held that hand during kissng and then inserted a finger - dont' think there was a chance but...) the test was negative, but I heard 2 weeks is the earliest, not sure how much to trust that yet?

    • You can't take a pregnancy test this early on and expect reliable results.

    • okay I'll wait a couple weeks and try another. wish me luck : /

  • The possibility is small, but it exists. Pre come always happens and it is possible for a girl to become pregnant. Chances of getting pregnant are very small (about 5%). In the future, always use a condom.

    • yea : / it happens so fast hopefully this is just a false alarm. I'm going way abstinent after this...
