Why are guys turn on by underage girls?

Since I was 11 I remember older guys looking at me with those eyes as if they wanted to ravish the crap out of me, some in their teens, others in their 20s or 30s and some even in their 40s and 50s. Even now when I go out I still see guys looking at my butt as if it is some sort of delicious meat they want to be inside or something like that. I guess now that I am 18 is OK, but when I was younger they would still do the same. I wonder if this is something natural that guys just shut up about and don't tell anyone and that the only reason that stops them from trying it out are the laws. I imagine this is an evolutionary thing, I mean, we lived thousands of years where older guys can just go to a village and take the little virgin they like and just do whatever the hell they want with her.

I don't mean pre-teens necessarily, but girls that already hit puberty with their first period, and obviously are naturally capable to get pregnant, you know, when we already know what's what and already have that femenine side of us visible in our mannerisms. Mostly between the 13 to 17 years old range. I know in some countries like Spain and Japan the age of consent is 13, I guess that makes sense. I know Elvis married Priscila when she was just 14 for example.

  • This is only mostly weird because our society has changed so much in the last 50 years, but biology has stayed the same.

    Remember that, from long before the beginning of recorded history and up until 1960 or so, women got married at an AVERAGE of 15-16 years old, and girls getting married as young as 12 and 13 wasn't especially unusual. That has changed a HUGE amount in a very short amount of time in 1st-World western countries, but in the rest of the world, it's often still true today. Just look at Latin America: girls turn 15 and have a Quinceanera, which makes them "officially" a woman in that culture. I know that seems crazy today, but again, just 50 years ago, NO ONE would have had a second thought about considering a 15-year-old girl to be a woman ready to be wed.

    All of our instincts and desires are based on biology and reproduction, and in the past, when women became sexually mature (post-puberty), they naturally started having sex and getting married and having children. If you read some history, you'll see how many European queens were in their young teens when they married. The Age of Consent was 14-15 in most US states until religious groups started pushing for their change in the early 1970s, responding to the hippy "free love" ideology. I'll bet if you ask about your own grandparents or great-grandparents, you'll find that they married at ages that today seem very young. My own grandmothers were both marred at 15.

    It's also been historically the case that the men were older, which also makes some sense, in that women who married needed men with some means and holdings in order to survive. Throughout most of history, women could not own property, and most women couldn't do the hardest manual labor required of rural life without a man. As little as 100 years ago, people living in cities was very much the exception; most people lived a rural existence.

    Bottom line, the behavior hasn't changed, except that in some areas, people are actually WAITING longer to have sex. But it's our ATTITUDES about sex and age that have changed. What was totally normal and accepted by everyone for all of history now seems creepy, but that's just because society has changed so much, so fast.

  • Attraction happens, regardless if its legal or not.

    11 is really pushing it, but there are girls who are 15 or so who are physically mature. And remember that in men, a lot of attraction is based on looks.

    We can't choose to feel attracted to them, but we can choose to act upon it or not.

  • it is a little gross to have any interest in girls too young to have developed boobs, but I fully understand any point after that. However, with the hormones we pump into our cows, girls tend to develop a little earlier than normal. It's f***ing confusing, and very unfair.

However it was more like "I wonder how this girl will look when she's 18, she's already so pretty" And of course when I was 9 or 14 I only really liked girls my own age even though we were all "underage" back then.

    In fact I remember the very first time I started having sexual thoughts when I was seven almost eight years old. And I kid you not the very thought that went into my head was "I guess I should think about girls sexually since that's what most men seem to do, like my dad".   • It's not really about age. Some girls develop at an earlier age and become attractive to men. Look at high school girls, some are attractive some are not. As a man I know I've got nothing in common with a young lady in her teens or even college age but that doesn't mean they can't be visually appealing. That's why most models are young and have very short careers.

    Of course a gentlemen shouldn't be staring at any woman's ass long enough to make them uncomfortable, especially a teenage girl. Guys notice things and any guy who says they don't are liars.

    • These 11-16 year old girls may enjoy flirting and teasing, but most of us are most definitely not emotionally ready to have sex. THAT is why there are laws against it, not because this world is "backwards." Please try to choose someone of age rather than ruin someone's life.
