There is probably no time I feel grosser in bed than when I have my period... my boyfriend tries to be super sensitive and if I have cramps he thinks fingering will reduce them... You're understandably much more self conscious about the bloody discharge than he is. I have no problem having sex with my gal during her period. I find she's most sensitive then. He's right: orgasm is a great cramp reliever so just lie back and enjoy. If he wants sex, put old sheets on the bed with some old towels and get after it.
