I don't know of ever woman is capable of it, but certainly a large number of women have never been able to reach orgasm through penetration alone.

Yes, it's about hitting the g-spot just right---but other things that come into play are: the woman's state of arousal, whether her head is in the right "space", the type of stimulation, the length of stimulation, her comfort level with her partner, etc.

It took me a number of years after becoming sexually active for me to orgasm without any clitoral stimulation. Now I can quite easily. I find what works best for me is when my partner and I are in missionary position, but I squeeze my thighs together (with his legs on the outside).

Also to note, there's nothing wrong with needing clitoral stimulation to reach orgasm.

I mean sometimes and it feels great but it's not necessary, I can come from fingering without that. The main point is the fingers, which are better able to reach and stimulate my gspot than a penis. I think it has to do with fingers being able to bend and being moved/controlled more than a penis.

It depends on what you mean by "direct stimulation". I can climax with absolutely no clitoral stimulation, but it's difficult even with my g-spot. However, I can climax during intercourse with clitoral stimulation from his pelvis.
