Well wearing them after babyhood was never a thought that ever crossed my mind, but things do happen in life, and it did to me and I just just play the hand I was dealt at the time as best I can.. i was in a very very bad fall and nerve damage was done and from that day forward I have wore both diapers and rubber pants daily, I got so very lucky as to still be able to do most all I could before that day entered my life, I do not flaunt my diaper wearing and I do try and keep a low profile.. except for this site as I did join some years ago to be my honest self and am not above answering these questions even tho this post may now be an old one.. I have excepted all the things to do with wearing diapers and rubber pants.. even the added laundry it causes as well as the diaper changes that I go through at times.
I still am a very active person in my comunity and am well known, I also work, play golf, fish, camp and all that other fun stuff and even to this day go out on dates with the ladies and they are told about what I wear right off the bat before any dates even starts.. that way they decide.. but not once has a lady turned me down because of what I wear or why I wear them and that in itself makes me very happy as all could have been so different if I had not landed the way I did.. I find wearing diapers not to be any kind of a burden to anyone or me no matter what I may be doing.. I am a ABDL "Adult Baby/Diaper Lover", also called "Age Play", and there are many more ABDL people out there then you realize. There are conventions and munchs (Vanilla get together in public), and there is even "Little Scouts" for those Age Players into Scouting.
As for me, I lean towards the "Adult Baby" side with some "Diaper Lover". This means that while I wear diapers (and yes I use them) like a "Diaper Lover", I also wear/use adult sized onesies, bottles and pacifiers, i. e. act like a baby. However, be aware, these terms are not necessarily universal, but that is the best way I can describe things here. Most ABDL hate labels anyway.
Yes, some people consider this very strange and even sick, but I have always been this way. Its always a source of comfort for me. I cannot really explain it completely in such a small number of words.
Also, I cannot understand why being a ABDL is any stranger the the BDSM or Shoe fetishism (or any of the other thousands of Fetishes out there). People are excepting of the BDSM lifestyle, so much so that they made a BDSM main stream movies about it (50 shades of gray). And before anyone asks, no I'm not a pedophile. I wear full-on plastic backed diaper. Not for fun or pleasure, but because I Have to. Do I want to wear diapers? Currently, yes. Because if not, I would make a mess. Do I like wearing diapers? NO! I hate them. But I have come to accept them and appreciate them for what they allow me to do. Like go out in public. Be social. But hating to have to wear them doesn't mean I can't try to enjoy life with them as a part of my life. Like order ones that are blue, black, skull and bone printed ones. (NO BABY PRINTS!)
