Well there doesn't have to be fairness. Nature doesn't work that way. male fertility declines somewhat with age but female fertility falls off a cliff, and our instincts regarding what we find attractive reflects that.
Note that what matters in both cases is how you look, not how old you actually are.

Dating is easier for women then men till late 20's. from then on it gets increasingly easier for men relative to women. It's easier for a 40 year old man then a 60 year old man, but it's easier for. 60 year old man then a 60 year old woman. Not only that but an shape 60 year old man will probably date women who are in shape and late 40's to very early 50's. It actually is easiest for women in early 20's so you could argue they are already going down by 23-24. It's just still easy.
well I don't get why some women disagree that it gets harder for them as they get older, are these women delusional?
i'd say past age 45
i like older men more than most girls my age. I am only 21. though I would not really get involved with someone who has more than 12 years on me, I think men can be sexy until about 42ish. MAYBE a little more if he's very handsome, after that they turn pretty old and gross.
but for older women I say men are probably good until about 60
at update..i think this means that you know, a single 50 year old man can attract women who are like 38-60 technically, and have his pick, whereas for a single 50 year old woman it will be harder.

no I agree that past 35 or so makes it a lot harder. even past 30 in my book. I just used that as an example...a single 50 year old man would probably find a mater more easily than a single 50 year old woman. like I know men that age from work who are separated/divorced and date a lot of women and still have "game"
I'm not sure about an exact age, but if a man starts to remind me of my father or looks like my grandfather that's definitely not attractive. Everyone ages differently, so for some men it could be at 50, others 40. I'd say that around 50 most men are unattractive to me.
Some guys stop being attractive around 25 others 30 to 35and the very odd exception later depending on how well they take care of themselves and their genetics. Men don't age any better than women. You have been lied to.

I've seen dude's at 60 looking like their 30, and look at Demi Moore, she is 50 something and she looks like she's in her 30's too. It's all about gene expression, and genetics has nothing to do with it. If your really into the fountain of youth then I suggest start studying crazy about nutrition, and some fitness. The point is to delay mortality, and that's what happens when you take care of yourself. link

I think prime age is 20-35 which is between the average age for getting married somewhere in mid late 20s.
50-55 is usually when they start showing a little more age than I'm into.
Looks wise though, I think most men look their best 35-50... I love a little wear on the face :-)
