if the guy was genuine and not just a player, it would be the best compliment you could pay a bloke when choosing him to take your virginity, because most guys who respect girls would feel so honoured in knowing that no other man has touched you and you are now choosing him, but a player would only see you as another bunk up but he will get excited about him being your first.

Absolutely it is an ego boost. It makes me feel special, I don't have to worry about STD's or her comparing me to a bunch of other men. If my next girlfriend was a virgin I'd be thrilled.
