sex drive = high testosterone = good for a lay, but wouldn't want a long term relationship. there are actual physical characteristics that men can see with women they want a one night stand with vs. spend their lives with. this is actual scientific research, and I think its fascinating.

I think its more then hormones that determine a persons sexuality because its different brain structures gay men for example have similar brains to straight women.

I guess I have high sex drive, I am constantly think about it. But then I am still a virgin. So its kinda hard to say if it is really high sex drive.

For me the attraction is always guys, I have never think of having sexual relationship with a girl.

I have a high sec drive higher than a lot of guys! I can go 6-10 times a night! I used to be bi curious but no longer am! I don't doubt that there's a correlation between the two but for me there really isn't!

I would say I have quite a high sex drive, compared to most people I know. But, in relation to this research, I am straight. I'm not attracted to women, although I can find them attractive, that's only in an objective kind of way. Is this supposed to be something to do with hormones etc?

also, nothing he said is really substantial. causation and correlation are two different things. being "associated with" doesn't mean it causes anything. There are a variety of things or people that are "associated with" different stereotypes, perceptions, feelings, that has nothing to do with any actual studied RESEARCHED reality found. It is true, high sex drive is associated with bisexuality. But that is not the same thing as bisexual = high sex drive or that there's a difference

I know of a hell of a lot of people who identify as bisexual who have high sex drives who also happen to have male reproductive organs. so I'm not sure how a high sex drive is supposed to lean in favor of being attracted to one sex for men.

the wording is all off. "increased attraction" to one or the other doesn't mean you aren't attracted to both in the first place, along with the other things I just mentioned. That's why I asked where this "research" is. I also think most people are bisexual to begin with on different levels, and that gets into the question of being fully aware of your sexuality, but we usually aren't talking about that. we are talking about self identification and realization.

And while I am a bisexual woman with a high sex drive, 1. not all bisexuals are attracted to both sexes equally and 2. there are lots of straight women who have high sex drives and lots of bisexual men who have high sex drives. It seems like the QA was trying to make a point based on ignorance, and just wrote sh*t or cited an unreliable source or just misunderstood what he read himself. but I'm still waiting for those links, QA ;)
