Why does it offend white women when white men prefer Asian women?

I notice this major surge of jealousy/rage/anger when a white man says he thinks Asian women are beautiful or that he prefers Asian women. White women resort to the "Asian women have bodies of 12 year olds" or "they have no curves" nonsense. As if the size 16 white woman in America has curves but not rolls of fat from her laziness and inability to put the fork down while blaming her hormones. A white man telling a white woman he prefers Asian women is like a black man telling a black woman he prefers white chicks.

Mind you, I'm biracial and not white or Asian, so none of this really involves me :p I'm Hispanic & black so this is all from my observations

  • I don't think that most white women say this -- you have angry people who say all sorts of stuff. For instance, I hear a few black women I went to school with get really mad and say that all black guys who want to date white girls are shallow status seekers. I'm sure that not all black women say that, though. Etc. Online forums seem to attract a lot of angry people.

    On this board, I've read a disturbing amount of talk from small number of guys who seem to idealize buying their very own Asian (from a third world nation) for a sex slave/servant. It's kinda creepy that they're so excited of taking advantage of someone in poverty instead of treating them like a human being.

    • The "nice guys" on here who say that are butthurt that American women aren't throwing themselves at them because they're "nice" and that's what women are supposed to do. So they lash out talking about going to China or some slums of Asian nation and picking up some desperate "you want happy ending" woman who will worship them from head to toe despite not being able to communicate with one another Those women aren't gold diggers but American women are The guys on here have issues

  • I think we shouldn't care about race anymore and date who we want I use to feel like that but when I started dating outside of my race I learned that it's not just about the race you can meet a great partner of any race .

    but yeah I do have a think for Asian women and men but I also like people of other races plus my own . Plus it's nice to see people of different races together .

    Not just these two.

    I just think these women usually attract the losers of their race.

    Then when they see good looking men that are successful from their race, going after someone (of a different racial or cultural background), they can't help but feel betrayed.

    • I know it happens outside the 2 but I noticed it's become more common as Asian woman-white man relationships have become more common. Granted, a lot of white dudes will date outside their race but the white woman will be the one they take home, I just notice it brings out this jealousy in them...they can't fathom that one of their own could consider a woman of another race to be better looking.

    • I really haven't noticed this all. But basing it on solely what you are seeing I can see why the white women would feel so offended. European standard and looks have been idolized for a very long time. So when they see a Asian woman in a white man's arm, they feel insulted like, "How dare you date below or consider her very attractive."

  • I think it may be similar to how white men feel if a white woman says she prefers black men, or how Asian guys feel if an Asian woman says she prefers white men, or how black people of either gender feel if someone of their race says they prefer to date outside it.

    It might be a little bit about entitlement, but I think tbh, its not so different from how women with small breasts feel when men say they like large breasts or fat women feel when men say they like thin women or short men feel when women say they like tall men or skinny men feel when women say they like muscular men.

    Not being wanted sucks.

  • Pretty much every answer stated is a viable option. In some cases, it may be jealousy. In some cases, it may be insecurity. A lot of white guys who prefer Asian women (on this site in particular) are pretty vocal about it. They talk about how Asian women (or women from non western cultures on general) are superior at any given opportunity. I can see how that can be annoying to some.

  • Its the same thing with Any race of men who chooses to date inside and outside of their race, the women will blame whatever race seems common to place their misery and problems on.

    Lets use another race, African American Women get upset when an African American man dates or gets intimate with another race, For example, White. I don't believe anyone should be fated to date a specific type of people only forever.

    Men get jealous too, Its just racism and ignorance mixed up in the dating world, Its sad but there's nothing we can do about it.

    • Unless you truly find a race disgusting.. you having an affinity to date one race over another isn't racist.. It's just a preference. Some people find certain looks or even cultural backgrounds more attractive. It's a shallow thing

  • Actually, I have heard black women criticize the physiques of Asian women the most. I've even seen it on this site 2 or 3 times, if I recall correctly.

    It's true that Asian women are not the most curvy women in the world, generally speaking, but they can be quite hot nonetheless.

  • No woman wants to be put down. I'm black and I don't like black guys who feel they need to let the world know they hate us. I feel guys like that aren't genuine and have underlying insecurity issues. people who feel good about themselves don't tend to put down their race, that's insecure people trying to feel powerful.
