I am a Christian also. There is nothing wrong Biblically about sex. The Bible just say's that fornication is wrong. People in the olden times mis took the word fornication to be sex in general because of the language barrier between English and Greek. We also see this using the word Love for example. In the Greek dictionary, there is four definitions of love, in the English, there is only one. Same with fornication and sex. But fornication just means premarital sex, sex before your married. So what ever you do with your husband of wife is okay, but you are supposed to keep yourself pure and clean for the one your supposed to marry. But what ever happens after marriage is okay to engage in. But fornication does not mean sex, but the olden timers who were taught by olden timers in a structured "main stream" religion are usually not open minded. But now that the world is more open to other peoples and their language(s), we are finding out that English is not the perfect language. Here is this verse as example.

Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. So after all, the Bible is not a "bad book" it's just how some people/religions have interpreted it.

I can see you rubbing on yourself thinking that you are turning on a guy just because you read or was told it by a group of registered sex offenders and in real life, most do not like it. A pastor at our church spoke against it. And growing up, her mom never spoke to her about sex, and speaking about it in general was considered bad/sinful. I don't know why people were so backward then...
I grew up in a Baptist church. My pastor never said anything about masturbation. I think he figured it was just a part of life. I know my mother was closed off when it came to sex. I could never have talked to her about sex. That is why I made it a point to have an open relationship with my kids.

I would say that as a guy, raised in the church and still a Christian by faith, though not as into organized religion:
1. there is no Biblical passage that could reasonably be interpreted to say masturbation is a sin.
2. I masturbate regularly, I'm not ashamed of it, and I don't need glasses, have hairy palms, or look deformed - it won't hurt anything if you do it!
3. I think it's very attractive when a woman enjoys her body and knows herself and isn't uncomfortable with that. what's not to love? so maybe "all guys" don't like it. but a lot of us do. and it's something we'd like to be able to talk about with our partners more, regardless of what faith we practice.
