Why am I horny all the time if I´m not a teenager anymore?

I´m 24 years old and I am horny ALL DAY LONG. Seriously, I can´t even concentrate on studying anymore. I´m not having sex now because I haven´t been in a relationship for over a year now, so maybe that´s why. I have been like this since I was 14 years old and I thought it would become normal with age, but it´s gotten worse. I am turning into a creep, I actually stare at guys crotches when I´m walking down the street (without them noticing of course) and I can´t even go to the gym anymore because I keep seeing this amazingly hot guys and I just want to have them right there and then. What could be the explanation for this? When do women reach their sexual prime?

  • It's our nature to sexually be attracted to the opposite sex. It's the way we were created...some more than others. The fact that you are having those strong desires just says that you are functioning right and are very healthy. It's a blessing so don't be upset about it! Continue doing your daily habits, routines, work etc. don't let your sexuality keep you from going places or interacting with men.

    Also, it is generally known that women hit their sexual peak in their late 20's to early/ mid 30's. That's when the men's libido start going down slowly. Kinda funny

    24 is around the time when my libido started to pickup too... when I was a teen, I never really thought too much about sex - too many problems that come with it when you're a teenager (rumors, more STDs, etc.). I was too busy with other things.

    Like the others are saying, a woman's sexual prime really amps up in her late 20s early 30s...

    Just work on getting a boyfriend... you will be just fine :)

    • I know exactly what you mean. I had no interest in having sex during high school. I thought of sex a lot, but I did not want to have sex with anyone. I heard a lot of rumors and I clearly remember one of my friends losing her virginity to a guy she thought loved him. He left her after that only night and then told the entire school she enjoyed it too much and didn't bleed at all, so she was probably not a virgin. The girl instantly became "the whore" and she definetely wasnt.

    • Yeah - those are problems especially with girls (slander, reputation)... but even as a guy, as I'm "supposed to boast of sexual conquests", sex never appealed to me as a teenager. I'd rather hangout in the parking lot with my friends smoking weed instead of trying to get a girl's phone number lol

  • Women typically reach their sexual prime at ~30. There could be many reasons for your high sex-drive and they extend all through the spectrum of you haven been molested to hormonal problems to you being completely normal albeit horny. If it's too much of a bother and masturbation isn't satisfying, perhaps you should consider finding a boyfriend.
