Does breastfeeding make the nipple bigger? areola? will my husband still love my breasts?

So I want children in the future...my only thing is I'm scared of breastfeeding...I don't want judgmental comments when I say why...its a personal decision. I am selfconscious and one of the few things I'm confident about is my breast...they are big and perky and beautiful. Will breastfeeding ruin them? I hear my nipples will stretch and elongate...my areola will widen and it could completely change my breast if I breastfeed. women who have breastfed what changes did you have? men with wifes or girlfriend who have did they change? dod your partner still love um?

  • Pregnancy, NOT breastfeeding, may likely cause your breasts to swell with milk(to prepare for feeding), cause your areolas and nipples to darken and get bigger(acts as a bulls eye for baby).

The pregnancy itself will signal your body to prepare for feeding the baby, because it's a natural process for us, whether you want to breast feed or not.

You can always get a reduction after you're done having children. Guys don't mind the reductions since they leave minimal scarring and look better afterwards.

    • I've seen the scars of reductions and they are hideous...minimal scaring my ass.

    • They look fine to me...but if you're looking at extremes, then yeah they'll be ugly as f***

  • your breast will go right back to normal when you're done breastfeeding. and if you husband doesn't like them during then f*** him. he's not a real man. a real man would love and appreciate them because they feed and nurture his child when he cant.

  • From what I understand the aeriola will get darker but typically not bigger! The actual nipple gets bigger (perky like your sexually aroused) when you're sctually nursing! It helps with the flow of milk

    • Correction: your aeriola will get bigger as well! This happens during pregnancy breast feeding will let the puffiness, and darker color stay longer! Once you ween the baby or let your milk dry up, your breasts will slowly go back to normal!

    • My mother and sister said there's went right bacl to normal because they couldn't breast feed because low milk.

    • That makes sense! Low milk sometimes signals that there isn't breastfeeding going on, which causes the breasts to return to normal size! It's all about the hormones darling!

  • Breastfeeding does make breast loose and nipples bigger as it is being sucked thousands of times.

Will your husband will stop loving those breasts because they have fed his son. Stupid question!

  • Breastfeeding makes the boobs bigger.

Don't think a guy in the universe would complain.

    • well maybe if they are already huge...:(

    • Focus on being a mother your man shouldn't complain. Your kid is more important than the cosmetic appearance of your breasts. And plus, what are you gonna do about it anyways?

    • I understand that and ill be a wonderful mom...its just the only thing I'm confident about sexually with my husband and after birth and all that I'm scared ill be just hating my body even more...I'm not trying to be selfish its just I don't want to lose my tiny bit of confidence that I have.
