  • - Height (Usually males are taller than females)
    - Face if she's pre-FFS. Typically masculine face features. (Angular/square jawlines - often strong, big nose and/or ears, sharp edges, facial hair, skin etc.)
    - Body buildings and shoulders: If she have square shoulders with sharp edges, it may be a sign she isn't cis. Even skinny cis women have rounder and softer shoulders.
    - Hands and feet. Not only the size, but also how they looks. Female usually have softer hands.
    - Voice and Adam's apple (Pre-voice surgery they usually sounds masculine and if she hasn't removed the Adam's apple, it would still be visible)
    - Smells (If she's pre-hormone treatment, she would smell masculine)
    - Skin (She won't have soft skin pre-HRT)

If the trans woman have been on hormone blockers before puberty, been lucky with the genes and then started estrogen when she's adult, it's almost impossible to see she's trans' due the testosterone hasn't influenced her body and given her masculine sex characteristics. Jazz Jennings and Emma Ellingsen are examples of trans girls who hasn't been in the male puberty due hormone blockers.

  • 1. Generally it's not very difficult to spot one even if they are a gorgeous looking woman

    2. But if one has to look for something then any of these can be the pointers

    2.1. Voice (even if modulated)

2.2. Height (generally taller than most women)

2.3. Size of feet (generally either wider or longer than most women apart from maybe alwassy wearing closed toe shoes)

    2.4. Hair (wigs etc)

2.5. Overdone make up even if occassion / place doesn't demand it (even if not really overdone)

2.6. Clothes that do not necessarily relate to the occasion / place

2.7. Voice box (Adam's apple - a general give away)

2.8. Body structure (if noticed properly)

    2.9. Gait

2.10. 'Boner' (if they get one and it shows :D) - pls don't mind it thought it'd be funny :D

    2.11. etc

    3. However, there are some who can mask all above and more but those are the general things anda few more that gives them away :D - I take it situation to situation, person to person

    • Let's see, my voice is perfect. I'm 5'6" and wear a women's shoe size 8 (normally, shoe sizes vary but my biggest is 8). I definitely don't need a wig, I've got hair past my shoulders, I'm not socially retarded and am very fashion oriented , although I'm in love with the 40-50's style clothing, but I know what to wear and when, and that includes makeup. No Adam's apple. I've got a petite frame, walk just like any other girl, and lol it's pretty impossible to get a boner since I have a vagina!

  • Don't really going looking for clues but to me usually its blantantly obvious if someone is. They may able to fool most but I usually spot them from a distance.

-I usually notice the facial bone structure (because a man's is different from a woman's)

-Adams apple (if the trans has one)

    -The voice

    -The mannerisms

    -Vibe

Not saying all trannys have these give aways, but its what usually lets me know.

  • So many people use the Adams apple as an identifier, I don't know maybe it's just me, but I have no visible Adam's apple and I lift weights like 6 times a week and I'm jacked, so not always the best identifier, but can certainly be something you check off the list.

  • There are some blatantly obvious ones and other transgenders are very good at assuming the other gender identity role.

Body shape, the way they walk, adams apple, face structure, voice, hands, attire, and most obviously, a genital bulge.

    • The genital bulge isn't a good identifier since many of them either hide it or had surgery.

  • I don't really care what's inside a stranger's underwear.

  • Adam's apple, voice, body shape.

  • *woman

  • I suppose they could figure out by a prominent adam's apple, the person's voice, shoulders, facial features.

Most people don't think about it much, because what's the chances that that's going to happen anyway? I don't particularly care. If she is attractive, she's attractive regardless of her being cisgendered or transgendered.
