Do guys like the classic hourglass body? (images)

Question

i am expecting a variety of answers.

i think girls who have a "thicker" but not fat type of body, with real curves, have great bodies. but a lot of people (especially girls) would say this is "fat". what do you think?

All guys like hourglass figures. There really isn't much denying that. In the same way most women like that V shape for a torso of a guy.

But, that doesn't mean that all guys like the same "thickness" in a girl.

For example, I'm not really a huge fan of Christina Hendricks. I know she's the go-to girl now to say that curves are OK, but I just don't like that kind of curves. According to this site she's a 38DDD-30-36: link

I'm not sure if that's correct but I wouldn't doubt it. She just seems a bit extreme. I'm not saying she's unattractive because that's not the case. I just don't believe in this push to say she's the ideal size.

In general, the ideal body is somewhere in between. It's not thick, it's not thin, it's a bit of both.

It's all about proportions. An hourglass figure is attractive, but if a girl has some meat but cinches her waist up too much, it's just not attractive anymore. I generally prefer the natural hourglass figure, instead of those 'bigger' women that try to cinch it good and look very unnatural.

Hourglass does not imply that a woman must be thick

I'm an hourglass and I'm far from "thick" but my measurements are those of an hourglass. Jessica Alba is an hourglass and she's slender.

And in reality, Marilyn wasn't as big as people think she is. Her size 14 or whatever translates to less than a 10 today.

But yes, it is statistically the most preferred body type

I like hourglass (and I am an hourglass @ 34-24-34) but the girls you posted are too chunky and I suspect they wouldn't look like much outside of their corsets and dresses that are specially shaped to hold them in. I prefer a toned look that looks good naked. Those women look good in clothes.

In my personal opinion, no. I tend to like a girl if she has more of an banana shape or at least a pear shape. I tend to like a girl more with smaller breast. But hips are fine.

As far as I am concerned I prefer hourglass bodies and thick legs good size boobs and a nice butt sends me racing.

Well I'm not necessarily in the smaller side of things, but I do have the hourglass shape, I do get compliments for having the shape that does catch some guys eyes
