Why are college guys so horny and sexually fustrated, when I was in high school, they were not this "bad"

When I was in high school sure boys were horny but its like 10x worse as soon as I got into college. They seem more desperate and sexually fustrated. One time this pig who I thought was my friend asked me if I wanted to have sex with him after he dropped me off. He told me he had a girlfriend, he still does. And when I am going to the bus stop these carpool of guys asked me if I needed a ride home. And I have had one older guy ask me to dinner while I was on the computer. And one time this guy just walked by me and left me his number while I was on the computer in the library. I threw it in the trash after he left, I didn't even know what he looked like. They just seem so "thirsty"

  • For one thing, most young men have become accustomed to the hot girls back in their own high schools. Once they get into college, they find even more women who are hotter than the home girls. Now that parents, uncles, hometown cops and preachers are not keeping an eye on them, it's free zone until graduation or expulsion from college...whichever comes first.

    People are physically attracted to beauty, why would men not want to have sex with women who are adults and not teen kids? The frustration comes from all the rejections from college: the smorgasborg of debauchery and sin. Women are supposedly horny and easier in college when the truth is the exact opposite. In addition, sexual harassment is far more prevalent and in force with college girls. Zero fun. Sexual peak has nothing to do with it. It's like a kid in a chocolate factory(BEEN THERE) and expecting the kid to behave.

    I would think women should be grateful that they are getting attention. Isn't it better than men giving you flak for being ugly as a barracuda? Maybe I'm not looking at it the right way. Afterall, women don't think as men do...

  • I'm pretty sure that they were just as horny in high school. The difference is in high school you have to sublimate those sexual desires to an extent because you are under the watchful eye of parents, teachers, curfews, etc, etc... In college there is a level of freedom everyone experiences and so thus things that were being held in check before will be set free.

    I mean it goes for everything not just sex. Drinking, drugs, partying, etc. Once a young person suddenly feels free of constraints many of them will indulge in all the excesses that were being held in check by a more structured daily life (high school)

  • Guys seem to think that college is where sex happens for everybody. :P My first year of college, two weeks after school started (one week after my boyfriend dumped me), this guy I befriended who HAD A GIRLFRIEND cornered me in my dorm room and started trying to feel me up. Like what the heck? He told me that he wanted to lose his virginity and that his girlfriend was saving herself for marriage. That's when I told him I'm saving myself too, hahaha.

  • Because after a while p*rn does not cut it, that and a combination of the influence of fraternities and a combination of drugs and alcohol. And everyone knows its easy to get a lot of sex in college, and some people have sex with their friends .

  • Besides all the hype that cinema has filled their heads with its also most likely because at this age for men they are sexually peaking, and I would guess that this wouldn't change until early thirties.

  • High school guys want it just as badly, but as a group, they're less experienced and so tend to be more shy about asking when compared to college guys. Also, you're the "new talent" in town in college, whereas you grew up with the high school guys so they'd already either hit or you or not.
