Wet panties, Help!

Recently I have been observing my panties are getting wet easily. It is to the extend that there is big wet spots on the panties. I typically changing it twice a day. Another this is that recently my p**** is rather itchy. But the itch come and go. I don't shave down there, cause after shaving it usually itch. Any idea is this a health concern? Please give me advice on this cause I am rather worried that it might be some serious condition.

  • Well to help with wet panties, just start wearing panty liner every day! they aren't too expensive you can get a box of like 60 for $3-4! as far as itching goes being that your having discharge as well its good to assume you may have an infection! go to the doctors to get that checked out! if you can't afford the doctors go to a drug store they can help you find and ointment that will hopefully stop the itching (and help the infection or whatever you have go away!) keep an eye on it! if the discharge turns color (other than a white/off white or pale yellow) go to the doctor! or if your itching gets worse!

    • the itching could also be from wet panties!

    • How come?

    • irritation due to the rubbing of wet clothing! its like when you wear wet jeans it irritate the skin around it! so wearing panty liners may help but if not try and get something a cream or pill to help with the itching!

  • You may have bacteria vaginosis or a yeast infection. Both can cause discharge and itching. Bv is more watery discharge with an odor while a yeast infection is more clumpy with an odor. I would get it checked out to be safe. Good luck

    • Will those infection go away on its own?

    • no they will not. You will to get on an oral or gel antibiotic for BV or use a prescribed or OTC cream for a yeast infection but you have to make sure you actually have it before trying to treat it yourself

    • Thanks for the advice :)

  • It shouldn't be itchy and it sounds like you have some discharge. You should visit a gynecologist if you are concerned.

    • I hope its not something serious. I am scared to go to a gynaecologist.

    • go to an obgyn that your comfortable with, preferably a woman, male obgyns scare the crap out of me lol, your going to need your obgyn a lot in the future so its a good idea to build a healthy relationship with them, just make sure its not a guy seriously.. some medical professions really shouldn't have guys in it (dental , perio, endo, exo, oral, implantology, etc, gynaecology)

    • Yup I should request to see a female gyno. Thanks for the reminder.

  • The wetting is nothing to worry about, IF it's clear (uncolored like water) and not smelling.

The itch might be something...or not.

Your obgyn or GP will tell you.

    • Yup, I wanted advice before I decide if I need to go to gynaecologist. Thanks for answering!

  • Many reasons for vaginal discharge. Infections are the most common and they're easily treated with antibiotics. Go see your gynaecologist.

    • Do you happen to know which kind of infection is possible for such symptoms?

  • Sounds like a yeast infection. Any white cottage cheese looking discharge? Over the counter meds will fix if so. Trim the bush some, moist, damp, dark places will get funky! Hopefully no chances of an STD?

  • is it pee or other liquid?

  • Don't be like my first girlfriend and say that you are constantly wet because you are horny so that when I go down on you I get a good Taste of some discharge.
