Guys how much does a girls cellulite bother you or turn you off? Girls that have it, do you let it affect you?

I'm SO self conscious about having cellulite on my thighs :( I've done everything to try to get rid of it, I eat healthy drink lot of water and exercise, but yea, still have it, so how much does it bother you if a girl (that is in pretty good shape) has it? Last year I didn't even wea shorts...I find myself always comparing myself to other girls thighs, is that normal?

  • When you put on weight, you obviously put it on in the thighs first before it goes anywhere else, so don't try and judge your weight loss by other areas because these will be the first places it is reduced, and your thighs last. the best thing to do to get rid of your celulite would be to concentrate on toning your legs, don't worry about other areas, just fixate on your legs. Do some leg presses and some squats, and a little bit of riding and running, your legs will start to tone within 6 weeks. Its all worth it when you think how they would look without this problem. Cream will do nothing but burn holes in every pocket, they are myths. A little effort will see results, its all down to how determined are you to get rid of this issue, but regardless, a guy who respects you will never judge you on your appearance,x

    • Thank you, I have been focusing on my thighs every time I go to the gym but it's still not going away :'( my ass is starting to get lifted and round though XD ha

  • Yes the general perception is 'it's a turn off' / 'deal breaker' etc but surpringly though I prefer toned bodies there are times when a woman with a lot of cellulite can turn me on too. My girlfriend is a beautiful woman, curvy body, tall and yes does have quite a bit of cellulite and I have noticed that that drives me nuts too. Not with all women but with a few yes, other aspects in her tend to make even that attractive.

Honestly, most times I think it's HOT :D

    • Well I'm glad some men won't be repulsed lol thank you :)

    • Was, is and always will be a pleasure young lady :) 1. First stop comparing yourself to anyone - you are unique, you are beautiful and you are the best! 2. Yes your comparing and stuff is normal but not advisable. Be confident about yourself and feel good about yourself too 3. Be and lead a healthy lifestyle but also wear and do what you want to do. Don't get cowed down by general perception and stuff - there are TONS of guys out there who LOVE cellulite too :) Happy women's day :)

    • :)ah thank you, I appreciate it

  • thankfully I don't have it and neither does my mother, aunts, sister or grandma so I have good genes. its a dea lbreaker for my guy. He can deal with stretch marks but not cellulite. There is no way to get rid of it. Its pretty much permanent once you get it but you can reduce it. Just love the way you are. Some guys don't care and some guys do care

    • Hopefully you never get it! That would suck knowing he felt so strongly about it

    • yeah I hope not but even if I did there are things on men I hate so I can throw it right back lol... good look girl!

    • Eeek, I would never feel comfortable dating a guy who had a deal breaker like that...

  • I'm not a guy but I have terrible cellulite too! And I drink tons of water and I'm skinny! Damn genetics! ): My boyfriend doesn't mind either though. And you should wear shorts anyways. I always see people wearing shorts who shouldn't ha ha so if its hot out, put them on anyways! I do.

    • It's like a curse! Have you ever heard of nivea goodbye cellulite? I was looking up ways to reduce it and that came up, majority of reviews were really really good and it's not even expensive! I'm gonna try it

    • I've heard of it. But ever tried it. I use one called "fat girl slim" by Bliss. It's pretty pricey but I only use a little and it makes my skin super soft. I'm not Even sure how well it works though haha.

    • I'm probably gonna try it because its only like 8.99 so even if it doesn't help I'm not really wasting much XD

  • Never paid attention to that. Before reading this very question, I thought that this was natural (not related to health or diet). Y'know, I just thought some people had them and some didn't. lol

  • It's SUUUUPER distracting.

But it's not the worst thing in the world.

But I am kind of curious as to how it's given you so much difficulty in getting rid of it.

Have you tried cutting sugar out of your diet?

    • Thank you, I've tried nearly everything, it's in my genetics so I know I can't get rid of it %100 but I'm trying to reduce it. I've cut out soda, candy, cookies pretty much all sweets, I of coarse indulge every now and then in a small portion so I'm not depriving myself lol. I've decided to go by Nivea firming cream after work, I've been reading reviews and they sound promising :)

    • Nowwwww, have you tried power squatting?

    • Based on what I've heard, cellulite can be one of the toughest things to get rid of.

  • It doesn't bother me at all. Personally, I find it sexy. ESPECIALLY if it's on an athletic, fit, in-shape girl. I especially love thigh cellulite. I'm turned on by cottage cheese thighs, I love the feel, the look, and the texture. I wish the stigma of cellulite would go away, it's a very natural thing for a woman to have. Please, try not to feel self-conscious, if you were my girlfriend I'd ask you to wear short shorts for me all time, at the very least least in private (if I couldn't help you feel good enough about yourself to wear them in public). And stop comparing yourself to other girls, every person is different, you can only be a second rate somebody else but only YOU can be a first rate YOU.

  • It really doesn't bother me. It may not be ideal but it's pretty insignificant to me.

    • Thank you

  • I honestly don't care.

    • Thank you

  • I rarely even notice it, and when I do, I don't really care.

Of course, It's not ideal, it's a flaw. But we all have flaws, and as far as flaws go, I'd say cellulite on your thighs is a pretty small one.

    • Thank you

  • It doesn't bother me, because it's one of those natural flaws (if you like) that the vast majority of people have. So you just stop paying any attention to it. Same with stretch marks.

I've found as a general rule, that guys are nowhere near as critical about womens bodies as women are.

    • Thank you :) that's good to read
