Did anyone else not know that prepubescent boys could get erections?

I had no idea until the last year or so, and I'm in my mid-twenties.

That's OK if you didn't know till your mid twenties about this. Not weird for sure.

There are many men as well as women who till the end who don't know many things about the opposite gender.

I knew obviously cause I'm a guy and I also know that an erection doesn't mean sexually turned on in men. It can also mean the bladder's full or just that the mind is relaxed or some sort of a vibration (like in a car etc) is relaxing the blood vessels down there that results in an erection. SO erection in a prepubescent boy is neither weird nor is it sexual, it's just a full bladder :D. The only reason that people find it awkward cause the awkward ideas and awkwardness lies in their thinking ;)

I have a sister who is 7 years younger to me and a brother a year & few days younger to me. We never got to change our sister's diapers cause we were quite young at that time. However, we didn't know that girls didn't have a d*** lol. We made the discovery when I was 10 and my brother 9 by accident and we ran to our mom to tell her that our sis doesn't have a d***

So it's no great deal not knowing about something even at an older age and learning it later. Life's always a learning curve :)

I used to have incredible orgasms as a little kid. I didn't know what they were, but I could feel fluttery contractions in the soles of my feet. Mom used to catch me at it all the time. It's one of my earliest memories, lol!

I think by definition if you can get an erection you are going through the process of puberty and are not, strictly speaking, pre-pubescent.
