So I've been thinking about buying some. I just find them very sexy, but I'm not sure if men do. What would you think if your girlfriend wore them? Sexy or trashy?

Background... I purchase all of my Wife's lingerie and sleepwear. She dresses for bed each evening and each morning we make love and have done so for many years. The typical lingerie she wears during the day is very different and has different purposes than the sleep wear she choses to wear to bed.

During the days she would not typically wear crotchless panties, that is not what they are for... but under a nightie, or with a camisole, or bustier, or even by themselves in bed - yes she will on occasion choose to wear them. They are a delightful invitation to intimacy, a rather pointed direct invitation and there is NO mistaking what her specific intentions are when she chooses to wear a pair of crotchless panties. These things are a means of sexual expression, a way of expressing desire and some very clear communication.

I think of them more as a part of a "costume", meaning something worn for a specific reason/purpose. Just like you might wear a bandanna, eye-patch, and a sword on Pirate Day or Halloween, but probably not the rest of the year, crotchless panties are something you might wear on a date when you are specifically trying to fool around a little bit in public without getting caught, or some similar "mission" or event.

Their appeal comes from them providing a rare, unique experience, so they are best saved for such occasions. Wearing them too often would make them kind of boring and lose the excitement and "special-ness" they are intended to bring.

In the right context, they could be very hot.

Sexy definitely but I prefer pantyless or commando, that's even more of a turn on when she is wearing short skirt or dress and you know there is very little hiding the love canal, my ex used to do that for me when we went out, eg movies or dinner or even a drive, she would surprise me by hoping in my lap and getting me hard then taking my member out and inserting it inside her, was interesting doing it without getting caught.
