Are stretch marks ideal? Of course not. But they are incredibly common. Actresses have them. Playboy Playmates have them. Even models have them sometimes. Obviously, it doesn't stop them from getting guys and having relationships, so there's your answer: no, they don't "ruin" a girl's body.
Are there younger guys who BELIEVE the pictures they see in magazines of perfect girls? Sure, just like there are girls who believe them. But MOST people realize that all of those pictures are altered, though I'm not sure if they understand just how much.

As you can see from the un-retouched photo, Kim has marks/flaws on her legs, yet millions of guys find her attractive and would date/bang her if they could.
I realize that some of that is celebrity, but a lot of it is that they simply find her attractive, and a few body flaws aren't going to change that. We all have body flaws...
Girls tend to be more self-conscious about these kinds of things than guys- especially if it's not really that noticeable. I don't really tend to care. You can use makeup to cover it up, but make sure you wash it off every day, so that it doesn't ruin your skin. I wouldn't recommend any extensive plastic surgical procedures, though.
Stretchmarks are normal (though the media-- and even certain friends-- will try to tell you otherwise), and don't make anyone look less attractive.
They are a product of natural growth. If you have noticed, they tend to accumulate around the hips... a sign that you have reached womanhood.
makes us look normal. Guys don't really care about them and honestly I love stretch marks on some guys, depending on where they have them they look sexy.

It won't ruin a girl's body. It depends on the eye of the beholder on how he/she assess her overall beauty.
It would not worry me, women are sexy regardless, and if the girl is attractive not just physically but intellectually and emotionally as well then the small things just disappear. If a person can't like you with them well that's his bad luck, don't worry about them.
As some girls think its crazy as hell there are some of us men who actually think stretch marks are somewhat of a turn on. So to say they ruin your body isn't something that we find to be true. Don't be so hard on yourself..

Nope. Stretch marks are pretty normal on women. They're not "optimal" but hardly anyone is.
I'm sure if a guy had stretch marks, you wouldn't consider his body "ruined". Same goes for you.
I think they can be as sexy as a tabby's stripes. Ask Nina...she IS sexy and she DOES know it.
