Girls, my Girlfriend wants me to shave her, but I'm worried about snipping her girlie bits!

Let me begin by confessing that I'm a crappy shaver. I'm always nicking myself. While I love her trimmed bush, she's been feeling the desire to shave her pubic hair and go for the smooth bald look. But she wants me to do it for her! I've watched a few videos, and will probably do OK on the open fields of hair. However, I'm worried about getting close to her girlie bits. How do I keep from harming her? That area around her vagina, has all kinds of creases, slits, and lips. Any tips would be appreciated!

Yaddayadda has the right ideas:

- Have her take a bath first - the water will soften up the hair and make it easier to cut.

- Trim the length off with sissors or clippers first, and it will be easier to shave.

- Use shaving cream to lift the hair off the skin, which makes it easier to cut.

- Shave in the same direction the hair grows. Yes, it might not seem to cut quite as close as shaving against the grain, but it also helps prevent cuts and in-grown hairs.

- When working around the lips, put your fingers on top of them, and pull them away from the area you are shaving, so you create taut, smooth skin to shave. The hair actually stops well before you reach the lips themselves.

- Get a cup of hot water and clean the hair and shaving cream off the razor OFTEN.

- Glide over the skin and let the razor do its job; don't press too hard. Keep the razor from being clogged, and don't be afraid to go over an area a couple of times to get the stray hairs.

- Have a couple of hand towels available to wipe off excess shaving cream. If you miss a spot, you can re-apply the shaving cream in those spots, so don't feel like you have to get it all on the first pass.

It's really not that hard; I've never cut a girl, even though I've cut my own face a couple of times over the years (I tend to be less careful with my face, though).

start her off in a warm bath. That will soften up the hairs. if she has an electric trimmer, trim up as best you can, first.

Use an aloe based shaving cream, and LOTS of it. Take your time. keep a bowl of warm water near you to rinse the blades.

Make sure you're using a new razor. With 4+ blades.

GO in the direction the hair is going first.

Just take yourtime. Go slow and gentle. You got this.

Do what the guys say and remember to pull the skin taught so you have as flat and tight a surface as you can. That is all I can suggest. Do you shave yourself, I have watched an ex shave and that is what he did with his balls and that is what I do with myself and it works.

be honest that you are scared you will cut her. if she hasn't shaved before or recently she needs to do it on her own time because it won't be comfortable.

my opinion on shaving each other is this - I wouldn't let a girl shave my face so there is no way in hell id let a girl have a razor near my junk.
