Why did his balls taste and smell weird?

So my guy is the first person I've ever given oral to, and yesterday was the first time I went down on his balls. It definitely tasted different than the rest of his d***, it didn't taste or smell like cheese, skin, maybe sweat I can't really compare it to anything but it was strong yet bearable. I know he was walking around/sitting in the car all day. He is a very clean person possibly didn't take a shower that particular day, and there wasn't anything visible on the area… So is this normal?

I know for me regardless if I showered that day, after a day of doing whatever my balls don't exactly smell great and I imagine they don't taste all that great. He probably just needs to freshen up down there before you two do your thing... otherwise he could have some sort of skin infection but the smell and taste would have been clearly off and you would've noticed if that were the case

how do guys "freshen up down there?" lol for me if I take a shower that day I know I stay funky fresh I guess its different for guys

for instance for me. I sit at my in my office all day. Despite not being especially active I do sweat a little bit and in general just all that closed area with little air getting in means that some odor is going to come up. For me I can take a shower or just quickly wash the area or sometimes I'll use those little body wipes to clean the area real quick.

also a little baby powder, shower to shower, or arm&hammer can help too... Although sometimes I find that it can make me sweat more

Sweat most likely, the groove of skin right between where the leg joins the body will get quite sweaty and with the balls right next to it well it is understandable.

Sweaty balls? Take a sexy shower before. My guy usually showers before we do anything after he had a long day at work. If I know is just sweat it really doesn't bother me.

I'm sure if it's a musky smell, it's fine. Thing is, if I find myself holding my breath or dreading licking/smelling his balls. I would stop right there and tell him to go wash up before doing anything.

He was probably sweating earlier that day which caused it to taste a bit different. Sometimes a guys inner thighs can be where the smell comes from since that's the most often spot that sweats while active or in hot weather. Its normal.
