Embarrassed about being uncircumcised

I first learnt that I'm uncut when I was 6 years old. I realized that I look completely different down there than my friend. Since then I feel really bad about being uncircumcised. I am embarrassed and I feel bad every time I get to know I new girl. I have considered getting circumcised as an adult, but the procedure is more complicated and painful, and the scar will remain. How important is a guy's circumcision actually to you girls? Can you give me your opinion on the whole thing? Shall I just stop fussing and be content with what I have?

  • I know what you mean. I've been embarrassed about it for as long as I can remember. And isn't that strange? If you think about it, it truly is bizarre that we should be made to feel embarrassed and ashamed of the way our bodies are naturally, from birth. As a society, we've worked ourselves into such a state that we identify our own bodies as repellent. I think that's a mark of a neurotic and f***ed up culture.

I think it necessitates asking yourself the question of whether should it incumbent upon you to change your very body to suit the aesthetic whims of other people. Is that really a good idea? Is that something you really want to do? Conversely, would you demand a girl get cosmetic surgery as a prerequisite for dating you? Would you really want anything to do with a girl who demand the same of you?

Further, are you willing to part with such an intimate part of yourself? I know the answer in my case. I love my foreskin way to damn much to ever get circumcised. It feels so good. I doubt if I could ever have an orgasm again without it. It's important to me. It's a part of my body I actually like and treasure. I'm almost proud of it, or I would be if not for the stigma. It makes me unique.

The good news is the zeitgeist is changing. Circumcision is declining on popularity but old-school attitudes still abound. There are girls who are dead-set against being with an intact guy, unfortunately. There are also some women out there who love foreskin (including a few on this site). And there are probably many more who are indifferent to it and many of them could probably come to like it given the chance and an open mind.

  • Why would you be embarrassed, trust me I really wish I can reverse my circumcision. I was circumcised the first week. Guys who are circumcised are less sensitive, rather half sensitivity maybe even less. Skin is very sensitive, it'll be like circumcising and taking a girls clitoris off. As you grow older circumcised penis becomes even less sensitive. If you're uncircumcised you have all your sensitivity, that means you enjoy sex more, don't have to focus too hard or thrust too hard, can pay more attention and focus on your partner.

Trust me you are the lucky one. In America circumcisions are on decline, soon you'll see most p*rn stars be uncircumcised as well. You will regret getting circumcised trust me. If there was an easy way to reverse it, I will reverse it and become uncircumcised. Trust me majority of girls who have been with circumcised and uncircumcised guys, they prefer uncircumcised. If you have sex naturally without condom almost all girls will prefer uncircumcised, that's how nature intended.

Believe me you have nothing to be embarrassed about. You're the lucky one. Wish I wasn't circumcised.

  • Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. When you're erect it's hard to tell if you're cut or uncut. As long as you have good personal hygiene- you KNOW what I mean- it's all fine. Any woman who would freak out about a foreskin is a silly ass- you are BORN that way. (And this coming from a Jewish gal, too.)

  • There are many uncircumcised guys around and the vast majority of females really don't concern themselves all that much about the guy being one way or the other as long as he is hygiencially clean. It's nothing to embarrassed about!

  • I have been dating a guy who is uncircumcised, and he is really good in sex, I do oral to him and everything else, and I have not seen any difference. Actually, until he told me I noticed it, before not at all.

  • be happy.

im uncut and I'm glad I am. plus it feels better for us too.

another thing is in p*rn there are a fair amount of uncut guys too and quite a few women like foreskin too. :)

    it doesn't matter.

  • I got circumcised in my 30's.

There are advantages and disadvantages. I'm not trying to steer you to doing it, in fact in some cases I've steered away, though I've been happy with the result. If you need any thoughts feel free to ask me directly.

  • In the Netherlands you would be a rarity if you in fact were circumcized.

  • sex feels better if you're uncircumcised, nough said

  • I don't think it is anything to be concerned with at all. Women are more interested in what you do with it and if you know how to use it. As long as you stay hygenically clean, women are not going to care that much.

  • personally I really don't care, I really don't think most girls care that much either. honestly I feel kind of bad for guys who are circumcised because you loose of the nerve ending in the fore skin which is supposed to make sex less enjoyable.

  • doesn't matter to me

  • You shouldn't be bothered or embarrassed by it. They don't actually care.

  • Why are you worried about it? It's just a flap of skin that goes over the head.

That's why I've never understood these types of questions or why some girls strong prefer uncircumcised over circumcised or vice versa.

    • why do we worry about our weight? Acne? muscles? hair color? body hair? etc etc etc because as a society a large amount of significance is placed on appearance and attractiveness. so if there is any amount of people who say, bla bla is hot or bla bla is gross then it will become something we as humans begin to worry about how we stack up and we develop insecurities

    • Yeah, I get that. I just don't understand why some people have a preference one way or the other. It's just a piece of skin and you only really notice it when you're flaccid. I don't know. It just seems more trivial than any other thing you mentioned.

    • it's an appearance thing. Gotta be honest uncut kinda looks strange to me, perhaps it's simply because cut is more common and what I've seen of myself the entire time but it is...just look at women's responses in this GAG question. there is a clear leaning to circumcised
