Why aren't buxom women considered pretty?

Sorry for another chest-related question, but I've really been wondering about this one.: Why aren't large-breasted women found in "pretty girl" roles, such as fashion models, t.v. personalities, music artists, or actresses? I can't say that I have every seen a woman naturally over DD in such a role (and even that's only once in a blue moon), while most all of the "beautiful" women in the West (as well as the Orient and Middle East) are small-chested. It seems that, sadly, the only place in which women in the higher range are accepted is p*rnography. Why is this? Even speaking with my friends (guys as well as girls), they seem to confirm this mindset, saying about an Emma Watson type female, "Wow, She's really pretty. <3 " However, when I bring up a picture of a lady with G-cups who otherwise has an identical build, they say stuff like, "Wow. She's got some big 'ol titties. Is she a p*rnstar?" or "Dude, I could do a lot with those funbags!" or (from a girl), "OMG, look at that girl's boobs. I bet she's a whore. She looks like a dairy cow walking around with those udders!" I get very incensed by comments like these, because not only are they disrespectful and hurtful, but they also make a whole class of women feel like they can't be anything but the butts of jokes and / or comical toys to be played with. And forget about anybody considering them "pretty" or "beautiful"; if someone does think them so, it must be despite their big breasts, not partially because of them. Personally (and judge me if you wish), my favorite cup size is in the F - H range, depending on the girl's frame, and though very rare, there is nothing more attractive and feminine to me than a tall, medium-framed, long-haired woman, with very large and well-shaped breasts. I would not hesitate to tell such a girl that she is beautiful, to write songs and poems about how pretty she is, to brag about her to friends and family, and also to tell her that her breasts' size is one of the things that makes her irresistible to me. This has bothered me for a long time, because I don't reckon that I have ever met someone else who believes the same way, and because there are many buxom girls who have never been told that their rare body type is indeed beautiful and that there are men out there who would love to have and cherish mates like them. Well, that's my monologue. I'd appreciate anybody's input. For an example of what type of woman I am talking about, do a YouTube search for: "DoesThisDressSuitMakeMyBoobsLookBig". Ironically, the video draws attention directly to her chest, but I couldn't find an example that didn't, which only serves to underscore my point.

  • I do agree with you on why are big chested women made fun of and being the joke, it unfair. I am only talking about natural chest, so it doesn't include those artificial chest, no offense intended. And the lady in the video you mention, to me, she has a really gorgeous figure but rare too.

I don't live in US but at my place most girls doesn't have huge or large chest, most are comprises of A and B cups. So being a D cup girl at my place is considered way different from others. And I do get made fun of sometimes, it saddens me to be receiving that kind of treatment by others. Or people do stare at them.

To me, I think regardless of whatever chest size, girls should be embracing their assets. And to anyone of who is making fun of other girls chest size are just plain rude. Of course everyone can have their preference as to what size they like, be it big or small. But they don't have to make a joke of others that they don't like. Sometimes it makes it hard for girls to like themselves.

    • Thanks for the input. :) Never been to Singapore, but I'd love to visit. I believe the lady I showed is from Indonesia, so not too far away from your country.

  • Curvy, big breasts/big butt/big hips=Sexy, appeals to guys (mostly)

Less curvy, small breasts/small ass/small hips=Elegant, appeals to women

I've honestly yet to hear a guy (aside from online) say he prefers small ass/small t*ts. Those guys are in the minority and hang out online, catering to insecure girls (no offense).

But you're talking about overly large breasts which tend to accompany fat girls...

For instance, Christina Hendricks is overweight imo. It's no surprise that people view her as attractive, considering a large portion of the US population is overweight and in denial.

    • I don't think Christina is overweight. She looks fine to me, and I'm a 5'8", 125 pound male. lol.

  • as a larger chest size myself I get the occasional dirty look from some girls if I'm dressed in anything but a t-shirt. it isn't fair I don't want them they're just there.I don't know. possibly considered to provacative for mainstream tv?

    • I don't know either. A news anchorwoman can sit in a short skirt on national television with way too much leg showing, and nobody says much, but heaven forbid one with a little extra up top shows any cleavage. XP Some girls are very insecure about themselves and so need to get all the attention from guys that they can. When someone comes along who might possibly draw some of it away, they feel threatened, I guess. And girls with bigger breasts often get the brunt of it.

    • They're probably just jealous. You've got a lovely chest

  • The massive boobs you mention rarely occur on a girl that is not overweight.

As for fashion, there are plus sized models but on average high fashion is not about larger people. Clothes look best on thinner smaller frames. Male high fashion models generally are not overly built either for the same reason.

In entertainment there are some girls with larger chests but they are represented in a ratio that is similar to how common that body shape is in general.

I agree with you on the way that some people view large chested women as just huge boobs regardless of if they are cute/pretty otherwise. This is just how some people are...shallow.

  • Bc the media is stuck looking for petit skinny models not curvy bib boobs big ass. I know its a problem.

    • I don't expect or want the media to only show men's "fantasy" girls, but when you haven't even seen one in mainstream media and pop-culture, something's odd.
