Why is it so easy to get casual sex in your 30s?

is it because people in there 30s are... -less shallow? -more secure? -more open minded? -more hornier? or what exactly am I missing?

I don't believe that to be true at all to be honest. I think nearly all ages are like that. I actually found that younger people are becoming more and more sexually active. It seems to be a norm to have casual sex now.. You just may not know about it or hear about it but believe me it's happening.. I know a lot of young people that go out looking for casual sex and have slept with more people then I have. I think there is a bit more peer pressure for younger people because there always seems to be some sort of "competition" going on as to who can sleep with the most people or whose "number" is the highest.. Now I'm not saying all younger people are like that but a lot are.. You find all people of all ages having casual sex its not just people in their 30's. But they do say people in their 30's have a higher sexual appetite and that that you have the best sex of your life in your 30's, can't wait for that ;-)

It's because guys tend to be more mature and more confident, and so they're more likely to be honest and straightforward about what they want. Girls generally appreciate the confidence and the honesty, even if that's not what they want. Many girls ARE okay with casual sex, though, as long as the guy is honest about it.

Also, girls tend to stop caring about what other people think of them, and usually have enough experience and maturity to know what they're getting into, and have more realistic expectations in a relationship (fewer girls with Disney Princess syndrome), so they're more comfortable with casual sex.

Now, yes, it may be easier to get DRUNK sex from a girl in her 20s, who is partying it up in college, but those girls tend to only sleep with a small percentage of guys, and those guys get laid a lot, while the majority of guys go without or struggle, usually due to lack of confidence.

The trick is to let them know you find them attractive, but don't pursue them. When they start asking questions (and they will), tell them that they probably wouldn't be interested, because you only are looking for a casual sex relationship. Many will lose interest, but some will think "who is he to tell me what I do or don't want?"

I always heard that by the 30's the people are looking for something more serious and hopefully leading to marriage. Guys constantly joke about how girls in their later 20's early 30's are finally getting enough sense to stop dating "bad boy jerks" and settle down with the nice guys who would have always treated them right.

By 30s a lot of women lighten up about who there having sex with... Most have already had sex with 20+ partners and are looking to hook a husband.

Open minded is one reason. Secure may also be another or some simply don't care as much. The factor here is women willing to have casual sex... 90% of men will have casual sex.

Anyway its a shame because sex is more enjoyable when your 18-25. More energy younger body.
