Do guys care if a girl has never done anything?

So I'm a 17 year old virgin... in every department. I've never even properly kissed a guy.. (the one I did he like ate my face and slobbered everywhere and it just was disgusting so I don't count that). So basically, I don't know how to do anything, I'm the farthest from experienced and it just makes me a little self conscious. I know being a 17 year old virgin isn't bad and I'm not saying it is but when it does come time for me to do anything with a guy, even kiss, will the guy care? Should I tell him or just act like I have done something before? Do guys like experienced girls better? I mean I just don't want to suck at everything, even kissing lol. I'm just wondering... both gender advice is welcomed!

  • I'm in the same situation except I actually have a boyfriend and we still haven't kissed properly after 9 months, if you can believe it... I've done some stuff with guys before though, so I'm not totally inexperienced. It's just that I'm so scared that I'll suck at it with my boyfriend that I won't let him kiss me. This is quite possibly the dumbest mistake I've made, as the longer I wait the harder it is to work up the nerve to just do it already.

    I should have kissed him a loooong time ago when he made several moves on me instead of rejecting him each time. And he hasn't made a move on me since the last time I rejected his advances, so I'm pretty sure he's waiting for me to I initiate it when I'm ready...but that's just it. I still can't work up the nerve. How very disappointed in myself I am. And I feel awful for making him wait so long, but he is the best guy I have ever known and we've liked each other for years, ever since we first met. I know he will wait as long as it takes, so just knowing that should make me less nervous and more confident about it, but it's really hard to overcome my fears and doubts. I think it would have been easier if I hadn't told him I was a virgin and all that though, because that just makes everything more complicated. I don't know though, go with what you feel is right and do what you are comfortable with...sometimes you have to take a chance though and break out of your shell or you'll miss out on the fun in life. That's what I'm now realizing.

  • I didn't lose my virginity or anything until I was 20, if you feel comfortable with the guy good ahead and tell him, but its also fine if you don't want to tell him you have not done anything. I'm sure you will not "suck" and it will all be fine sweets!

    I prefer girls like you- they have a future. Virgin is great, since it shows you have values. Save it for the right guy. I'm self conscious about my lack of anything, but I know that college and the real world will change that. Don't worry.

It is not allowed to have sex before marriage for boys and girls both - as nature has designed it for producing babies to keep life ever lasting on earth. Commitment and faithfulness is the condition of good family life. "Experienced" girl might be OK for fun - not for rising family.
