Girls- are you embarrassed to be naked...

Infront of your friends, strangers (locker room) or boys? If so, why? It seems girls are always shy and I don't fully understand it.

  • Not embarrassed necessarily, I just don't want strangers and my family to see my body. That's just inappropriate in my opinion. In the locker room, I still have a bra and underwear on so I don't care about that, but I wouldn't want any of those same people to see me with NOTHING on. The only person who gets to see me naked is my boyfriend.

  • I love my body, but completely naked is not a good idea. I love when I am wearing less clothes and people look at me, but naked is different, just for my couple or maybe when I am at the showers at the gym or spending the night with a girl friend and we are sharing rooms.

  • I'm comfortable with my body. I'm unembarrassed to be naked in front of my friends and sexual partners. Not others merely because I think that's inappropriate.

  • Because we live in a society that promotes the idea that physical attractiveness is the most important thing in the world. Because of that, many people judge themselves way too harshly and are self-conscious as a result. It's not just girls that are uncomfortable being naked.
