I was molested when I was a child so I'm not particularly jumping the gun when it comes to sex. But I suggest you sit down and talk with your partner so he at least understands. It also depends if you just want to have fun or if you have serious feelings for him you should check if his feelings are on your level. I think physical affection is fine after a few weeks, I began it after like three weeks with my girlfriend, I would say the reason it all happened so fast was that we generally had two to three dates per week versus just hanging out.

i think people usually reach physical affection sooner than 3 weeks. id it difficult for you because of your past. all that stuff is hard for me. nothing to do with long term or short term relationship goals, its just hard for me to feel comfortable being touched. I don't have rules about waiting.. it just takes me a while. i had stuff happen when I was a kid. but it wasn't anything gruesome, so I can't really see that as being the reason. but I easily feel violated. its kind of a pain.

Try going step by step i.e. holding hands, hugging, cuddling, and kissing and what not. Taking things slowly can help you get accustomed to it. The Great Wall of China wasn't built overnight it was done brick by brick and unfortunately your problems won't go away that easily either. Baby steps first.

Sex, I'd guess on a few weeks straight.

Physical Affection, probably not long, though I would try to make sure I'm not too frequently clingy either. Such as half a week at most.
