Is it OK to give a guy a hand job on the first date?

My date is just turned 19. We are going to the movies and I'm planning to bring him back to my place afterward. Is it OK to give him a hand job? Can I do it at the movies or should it wait until we're alone together? Any pointers concerning technique?

  • If you do this, all you will be teaching him is that your relationship is just about sex. He'll never take it any more seriously after that.

Kiss and make out if you want, but keep it above the waist, at least for the first date. If you want to give him an HJ on the second date, and sex on the third, then fine. At least you'll have taught him that you're worthy of a bit of respect.

Also, do NOT do this in a theater. Do it at home where it's YOUR stuff you are doing it on, and where no one else has to see it. Thanks.

    • THIS. preferrably, date for a while. it depends on if you are just dating for f***s, or dating for love and romance.

  • Damn girl. You are a woman over 36 and dating a 19 year old guy. You are the opposite of me.

    • Did your nineteen year old girlfriend give you a hand job on your first date?

    • I date younger women.

    • Well, mine did one summer but it took a long time to get another one and longer to get more than that. We were about the same age, if that makes a difference in this instance ... Oh ... what happened on that date?!?!?!?!

  • Hand Jobs aren't for first dates.

Hand Jobs are for when you've been together for two or three years or more and you're just not in the mood and he's about to burst and you feel bad for him.

  • 36-45? and he's 19? o.0

He's probably just doing it for sex then, and in that case I suppose if you don't do that, then the date is pointless. That's just weird though. ewk.

    • Yes. I just want some good sex. Relief seems a good way to avoid going all the way on the first date.

  • Make sure you get to know him way in advance. Sex is too personal just to give on the first date. If you ask her giving a handjob isn't much better!

  • No - It is not good to offer or receive HJ or any direct sexual activity on first date.

  • Its only OK if you're cool with never having more than a fwb..if not then don't.

  • D. only at home, go as far as you get something out of it ... he'll be grateful for anything

the only caveat is ... once you feed a stray cat, you'll never get rid of him

  • you're 36+ and he's 19? I guess in that case anything is OK. You should be the one in control and get what you want.

But in general, any sexual conduct on a first date - unless you 2 already know each other fairly well - is pretty questionable.

  • your 36-45 and asking for pointers about when and how to give a handy?

just expect him to want handjobs in the future. if you set a precedent on your first date you need realize that you create an expectation. It's easy to build towards something in a relationship, it's not easy to retreat from something once you've done it

  • There should be hours of talk before any fluids flow. Relationships are not about recreational sex. They are about connecting emotionally. Sexuality is the reward for that and is the frosting on the cake.

  • First date? Nothing sexual should happen on a first date. Save that for the 3rd or 4th. The first date is meant only to communicate by talking. Getting to know each other.

  • I say no. It's rushing things way too fast.
