well it's hard to know how much harder he should be thrusting... maybe try having you near the edge of the bed and him standing up. that way it requires less isolated muscle action. you can also try spreading your legs wide or bringing them up towards your shoulders. this won't make him thrust harder but it will allow for deeper penetration which might get a similar effect
A position I used to do with my ex was her on her back, butt on the edge of the bed, legs up. Me standing and thrusting into her. It could get pretty hard/fast, we were pushing the mattress off the bed at one point.
I think you should try different positions and find one that works for the both of you. Look for ones that make him go deeper into you and ones where you can take a turn at doing the work. Then you can go as fast and hard as you want.
well what my guy does is hell go slow then randomly thrusts super hard to keep me on guard lol we now made it into a game lol so it won't be constant but its thrusting. let him or tell him to take mini breaks in between
In missionary, you can hold your legs up high so that it tightens you up. He can hold them up too if you get tired.
Or you can just get on top, that usually feels better for me in general.

Get on top and you control the thrusting.
If he is tiring out thrusting harder in the missionary position, it might be difficult for you to get what you want in that position. If you are riding him, you can control the action, and ride him harder and deeper, and you will control the penetration.
If you raise your legs higher when in missionary, it will feel like he is deeper inside of you.
