  Look...getting to know someone is best done in person. Online is merely meant to find someone. Sure an informative profile for both guys and girls matter, but be honest, if the guy looks good, and his profile is decent, that's all the info you need to meet him in person.

Be smart and meet in public, and you have nothing to worry about. A computer is used to FIND someone, not get to know or truly know what they are like.
