I am a 20 year old virgin who will be 21 in November. I don't view losing one's virginity as "oh I have to just get it over with," but I would say I have a complex about it. I feel depressed about it some days and it even makes me cry. I even cried about it today. I told my friend who hooks up with guys a lot that I am a virgin. One day I heard her having sex with this guy she met at a party. Two days later, I had let it slip that I heard and we just laughed and joked about it. Then she said, "ooh your poor little virgin ears." I didn't say anything, because I knew she intended it to just be a harmless joke (and most other people probably would too), but it really made me feel bad. I have a lot of other friends who get around more and I constantly feel bad when talking about sex and hook up stories, because I have nothing to say. I'm now starting to feel somewhat ashamed about my virginity. I think part of my complex about it is that I feel somewhat boring and undesirable, because I haven't done anything and sometimes I feel like no one really wants me. I really just want to do it so that I can stop feeling a certain way about it and so that people can stop looking at me as if I'm some weird, innocent person. There are a few things that hold me back from having sex. I am a bit insecure about my appearance. I'd like to buy the right make up and hair products, but I've never been able to afford it. I don't really go out a lot for this reason as well. Also, I don't have too many guy friends. I have one gay male friend and another friend who lives in a different state. I've never thought of myself as one of those girls who gets all the guys. I'm not really flirtatious either. I'm not ugly. A lot of people actually tell me I'm pretty. I do get hit on. Sometimes it's from guys at my school, but many times it's from strangers who I might come across just walking down the street or while I'm at the grocery store, etc.- not people I'm really interested in. There are a few guys who I'm not particularly attracted to, but I think they'd be likely to have sex with me if I asked. But that's my problem. I don't know how to bring it up. So yeah...how do I ask a guy to have sex with me?

Sex is requirement of body as a natural drive,but it is not just like eating out for fun. Nature had design it for starting family and producing babies. If you are not really with somebody with this purpose - do not do it in hurry. Me and my man - both being from Indian traditional families were virgin till our marriage. It was our greatest commitment for our traditions and precious gift to each other. Any ordinary guy will be happy to pop your cherry and he may make it public if he is not your real man. Virginity is not a matter of shame in any culture - it is a pride of being a real woman.

I must admit most of the girls I know would say "let's **** " and some wouldn't say anything - they just do. But that isn't for everyone. Try not to work it out in advance. Just whisper "I want you" or "I'm ready if you are" or "Do you want to . . .? Anything. We're not stupid you know.

Don't worry too much about your appearance. For me, I loathe lipstick, stockings and high-heels, messing around with hair-styles, primping. A natural girl will turn me on quicker than anything. If he doesn't like you as you are, he won't like you anyway.

I hear this a lot coming from guys. I just think it's kind of weird to say upfront, "hey, you wanna have sex?" It's not that I think I'll get rejected. I just don't know how to approach the situation in a way that isn't awkward.

how can your virginity be a burden for u. it's a treasure. your friend is a slut to f*** someone who she met at the party. Virginity is something that will be appreciated later by your boyfriend or husband. they have already been torn, spoilt, now they want you to be in that category. guys don't want to marry a girl f***ed by dozens of guys. if she had a couple of boyfriend that's OK but if she Is a virgin that would be the greatest gift for me by my wife on a wedding day.
