If a guy texts you at 9pm on a Friday night, is that a booty call?

A guy asked to come visit me at college on the same night as the text. I told him I couldn't. So he said to let him know when I'm free. I didn't text him back yet when I'm free. I don't know if this is just a booty call or not because he texts me on a Friday night at 9pm "Hey you". To me this is kinda strange because he has texted me before on the same night to come over and it seems to me like a booty call. Is it?

But no, 9pm is not a booty call. 2 am is (unless of course he was just getting you his number).

I called a girl at 2 am because I had to get her my number. I hung up after that and we just texted on into the early morning...haven't spoken since then (I think she lost interest)

It's a text at 9pm not 2am. I guess it depends on where he's inviting you to. His place would be a bit shady.

My other thought is you don't text girls on a Friday night and expect them to be free.
