Boyfriend doesn't take me seriously when I'm mad

I don't know what to do. First of all I'm just gonna get this out of the way but my boyfriends a great guy and treats me well. Its just we have those arguments every now and then and I have this problem where he doesn't take me seriously when I'm mad. I think its because I have a soft voice and am really girlie he doesn't take me seriously. I don't scare him at all! Now I'm not trying to its just at times if he does something I don't like and I get angry at him he just laughs and continues on as if I'm not angry with him and I want to show him I'm serious. He even gets horny sometimes when I'm angry! How do I get him to take me seriously? I will not ignore him because that would make a problem worse. I just want him to take me seriously when I don't like something.

Change the way you show you're angry. Get cold and quiet. You said you don't want to ignore him, but unfortunately at his maturity level that's going to be one of the only things that will work. He won't take you seriously until you show him a consequence for not doing so. You can give him a warning, if you want, "Look, I'm really serious about this. Until you can listen and discuss it maturely, we have nothing to talk about." Follow through on that, and hopefully he'll get it.

Just kidding. Just tell him you don't want to even look at him at moment and leave. Give him the cold shoulder or just say this isn't supposed to be amusing.

The one way to solve this issue is to not get loud since your voice can't handle that.

Reason with him on a logical level. Tell him WHY you don't like whatever it is about. Tell him that you feel hurt by him going on even though you don't like it.

When you're "girlie" and get mad, it's rather funny. Had the same problem with my wife and then explained her how to handle it - worked for us.
