Are acne scars a turn off?

I have acne scars on my back and my chest. I'm very insecure about it. Do you think its a turn off? Be honest!

  • I think it would be turn off, just like acne on face. Lately I have been really stress so little pops of acne have been showing up on my chest (like up half, more toward my neck) and that's hard to cover up with a shirt, good thing I can just cover it up with some concealer. I feel real self conscious about it because I know people glance at me chest a lot (they're big, like 34 triple D, but look huge because my frame is petite) and every time I feel bothered as they look at my chest and now I have to worry about them being disgusted at my acne, to add on top.

P.S: Concealer on your chest goes along way for your ego ,my friend, along way...

  • It's not an attractive quality.

But it most certainly isn't a turn off.

    We all have imperfections.

  • No, especially on your back and chest. If it really bothers you, buy a lotion that has AHA in it, which will diminish them, or, if you have insurance, you could see a dermatologist and have him prescribe you a retinal, which will really diminish them and make your skin look gorgeous.

  • No, you'd be lucky if I even noticed... even if I did I'd prefer to know I'm dating a human... not a cybernetic organism...

    • Why are you feeding people bullshit? You know for a fact that acne itself is generally not attractive and the scars are generally not attractive so why are you going to feed someone the concept that "it's what makes us all human"? There is a vast difference between having perfect skin and being riddled with f***ing scars. Lying to people is unhealthy for them.

    • First off, she didn't say acne; she said acne scars. Second, it would depend on where (and the back and chest isn't a big deal). Third, it would depend on how many and how bad they are. Stop being so bitter Cromartie.

    • How is it bullshit? It's not a turn off, if it was a turn off for everyone... No girl would like Brad Pitt, his face is filled with acne scars. Plus since when was flawless skin THE attractive thing to have? That's a very sweeping statement, like saying that only being thin is attractive. Plus I never said acne was attractive, especially since this is only about acne scarring. Furthermore I said I most likely wouldn't even notice it, not unless it was a crater in their face, even then who cares.

  • i wouldn't care.

  • Hey the scars are on the outside and it is what is on the inside that counts.

  • Yes. That's almost 100% a given to be a total turn-off. That's how the lotion industry thrives!

    • Why did so many down votes on this.. is acne meant to be a pretty sight. GAGers pull your head out.

  • no. nobody is perfect

  • For me its a turn off.

One of my friends has huge scars on their chest, when they wear low cut tops it stands out alot.

Like blackish patches and spots all over her chest, pretty yucky.
