How do I find out if the security camera on the crew ship saw us having sex on our balcony?

My husband and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon last week we got a nice balcony suite towards the top of the ship and had a wonderful time till I found out there was a security camera outside of the balcony. The first two days of the cruise we did not spend much time in our room because we were exploring the ship but at night we did have sex on the balcony for about 20 minutes the first night and well over an hour the second night. We were not worried about someone seeing us because we had a top balcony and the walls stuck out pretty far on the sides so you cannot really see the room next to you. The morning of the third day I woke up took a shower when I got out of the shower I walked out on the balcony and took my towel off and sat in my husband's lap for a little bit and then we started having sex before we went downstairs for brunch. He was sitting in the chair and I was on top of him for a few minutes and then turned around backwards on him and leaned back on him looking up, when I looked up I saw a security camera sticking over the side of the ship above our balcony. I did not notice this the first two nights because it was dark and our balcony lights were on so it was kind of blinding my view. I covered up my boobs with my hands and told my husband we needed to go inside because there was a security camera looking down on us. I asked him if he thought it could see us at nighttime and he said with our balcony lights being on it could probably see us very well. I am very embarrassed about the situation especially knowing someone could've already recorded us having sex my first week of being married. Is there anyway I can find out if the security camera saw us and if it was recorded or not? Do you think someone could have been watching the security camera? Is this legal for them to have this camera outside of your room? I know we're probably not the first people to have sex on the balcony of the crew ship but I'm still pretty embarrassed.

Big deal, so you had sex like everybody else in the world does. They probably did not see you because my brother in law was a security guard and he said that don't they check zip unless there was an incident then they would start looking at the footage. The computer just collects it. I would not worry about it so much. Plus, it not like you know any of these people and most likely, you will never see them again.

Is there anyway I can find out if the security camera saw us and if it was recorded or not? You know how much footage they get on those cameras, security does not have time to check it.

Do you think someone could have been watching the security camera? Of course it is a possibility but most likely not.

Is this legal for them to have this camera outside of your room? Absolutely, as long as it is not facing inside your room. They use those cameras as footage if anyone falls overboard.

You had sex outside, which means it wasn't in your room. Yes, it was legal.

Cruise ships have hidden security cameras in case accidents happen. For example, within recent years there have been a few people who have gone *missing* on cruise ships and it's not apparent whether it was suicide, whether they fell over due to being drunk, whether someone pushed them over or whether they simply walked off board and never came back on.

THAT is when security will look at the tapes. Not to see random people having sex.

It wasn't in your room.. it was outside, in a public place..

I doubt it was actually aimed directly at your balcony, as that would be cost prohibitive to have cams on every balcony.

More likely, its mounted high, to catch stuff on lower decks. But you very well may have been in its line of sight.

You could ask the cruise line, but they may not know off-hand. may just tell you what you want to hear.. and if no one had seen it before, they might just go watch it now...

You won't most likely unless they talk to you about it.
If you go to the security office on board and ask the guards who are there during the same time as your... fun... They may remember if you ask them.

Most likely it looks down and away into the water, which wouldn't point at your balcony
