This one's for the ladies: Your thoughts on the withdrawal method?

Details: I'm in my early 40s. My first girlfriend made me use a condom every time we made love. After 4 years of continuous condom usage, I became so desensitized that sometimes it was difficult to have an orgasm. And yes, I even had to fake it a few times. (there was usually enough pre-ejaculate and lubricant in the condom to make it somewhat convincing, if we had just done it the previous evening) But then the girls I was with while in college and my next girlfriend were okay with my not using a condom, as long as I was 'careful' at the end. So I got really good at it, and I definitely developed a taste for pulling out. I got a vasectomy in my later 30s, figuring I was too old to start a family. The first time I made love after my vasectomy, I didn't pull out and just left it in at the end, just to see if I enjoyed it but I really didn't care for it all that much. I just really prefer to withdraw at the end. I like how it feels, and I love watching my semen shoot out all over a woman's stomach and breasts. Most of the women I've been with haven't minded when I did that and a few even enjoyed it and even went as far as to ask me, the next time we made love, to let them know when I was about to pull out so they could watch too. (If it's been more than a week or two since my last orgasm, I tend to really ejaculate a lot of semen and it can be quite a sight to see six or seven long squirts shoot out all over a woman's body) So my question for the ladies is: If you were to start a relationship with a guy, and he was disease-free and had had a vasectomy, would you have a problem if he liked to pull out at the end? Would you watch? Or would you try to change him so he just ejaculated inside of you at the end?

I have never had a guy ejaculate inside of me. I've been on birth control since I was 17. It would be perfectly safe, but not taking any chances on that (well OK, with my current boyfriend.. but I'd still use back up birth control)

But generally to me I don't care how safe it is. I'm not ready for a kid yet so you better pull out.

I like it on my body (NOT on the face though that's the one place you're not allowed to do it). I like that intimate moment when after he does it he hugs me and squishes it between us.

I have heard that having it inside with that special someone can be a really nice moment.

Pulling out does nothing to prevent a child just so you know. The birth control will, but not pulling out.

You'd actually be pretty surprised link pulling out actually has an effectiveness of 73% when not always done correctly (which I assume happens in most cases) and is 96% effective when done perfectly which not many people do I will give you that but 73% is no where near "nothing" if you ask me. It's actually more effective than spermicide (which isn't too much of a surprise) but still not bad

I'm not saying that withdrawl is a good method to depend on at all. Hell I always use 2 forms of birth control whenever I have sex (either a condom+hormonal birth control or a diaphragm/sponge+hormonal BC) but my guy pulling out doesn't hurt either

I like your attitude. :-) I posted this question just because I was curious. In my own experience, around 75% of the girls I was with didn't mind and/or actually enjoyed my pulling out and about 25% of them would have preferred my semen inside of them. I've probably made love more than 1000 times, (more than 990 of those times were with a long term partner or my wife) and most of the first 300 or so were with a condom, and most of the last 700 or so I pulled out. I just enjoy it more.

I'm at a point in my life where I absolutely DO NOT want to get pregnant. So I would never risk using the withdrawal method, as birth control. But if a guy wants to pull out at the end for whatever reason, I guess that's fine. I might not want that to happen every single time, but at least for some of the time it would be fine.

i Am all for whichever feels goof for him it really depends on his mood we are in our early 20s so pregnancy is still and issue but I still let him do what he chooses I do always watch when he comes on me I think its hot! Also I don't mind if he judt doenst pull out at all. Whatever works I guess haha

I was with one girl who wasn't all that amused when I pulled out at the end. She did admit to being a little impressed that the first spurt landed on her shoulder, but afterward, she asked me why I pulled out, since she was on birth control. Actually, MissConfused, it can be quite impressive when your man has a REALLY intense orgasm and his semen shoots out 3 feet or more. My wife, as well as my ex-gfs, have told me that they enjoyed it shooting all the way up to their necks or their faces when I pulled out at the end. To me it really doesn't matter, it not like when he cums inside me it take very long to come out. I just have to pee afterward, like I would anyways to make sure I don't get a uti, then all done. The other way there is still clean up then use the washroom. Doesn't matter either way.
