Girls how much does it really hurt to lose your virginity?

I never used tampons, was never fingered or anything because I had a microperforate hymen. Basically your hymen is almost completely closed up so I had to have it operated. They said it should be fine now but I can't have sex AT ALL cause I feel like my vagina is still too small but don't know if I've been trying hard enough. I don't want everything to tear down there ! How should it really feel and out of 10 (10 being child birth or cutting your arm deep with a knife) how bad is the pain?

It's different for every girl but it shouldn't hurt that much with some simple preparations-

1. Make sure your partner gets you good and turned on, really, really turned on. This will cause blood to flow to your vagina and cause the cervix to retract and the muscles of the vagina to relax.

2. USE LUBE. I don't care how we you are lube is the best. Lube will make everything better. Use a water based lube, too, so that you don't risk getting an infection from oil that sticks around too long.

3. Let your partner finger your first. Start with one finger, just nice and slow and once you are completely 100% comfortable and enjoying it, have your partner use two. Then three and once you're all set with three then try a penis or a toy.

4. If it really, really hurts don't expect it to happen all in one go. It might take several time of trying a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more.

The pain is a two or three... If you use lube nicely, you just feel a little discomfort like "this shouldn't be there" and it hurts a little after it, but it really doesn't hurt that much. Not enough to scream or anything... After about 2 days, you're good to go again and it just SO much better. Don't worry ^^

Well it's different for every girl but I'm guessing for you being so closed up it will be a tad bit painful the first time and the next couple after. From what I heard from most of my friends that are girls it's more a pressure, pain, burning sensation due to the breaking of the hymen. It will go away if you have the right size guy. Just don't go huge right away and it will get better with practice and time.
