I look nothing like my boyfriend's celebrity crushes.

My boyfriend has a few little celebrity crushes, and although my thin but curvy body matches theirs (skinny with butt and boobs) my face doesn't. All the girls he seems to like on TV are Latina or foreign in some way, and I'm all-American. I have brown hair and black eyes, but I definitely am not Latina. I'm half French and half Eastern European-Jewish. He says that now his type is just "me". But how does that make sense when even now all his crushes look nothing like me? I am pretty, but I am not Spanish or South American.

  • You said his celebrity crushes are foreign in some way right? Don't forget you have some French and Eastern European-Jewish in you. If you looked just like them would it make you any happier? He's saying that he like you for you not your nationality. My celebrity crush is Chris Hemsworth, but if it got down to me dating him I'd rather not. I'm more into brunettes, but that doesn't mean I won't give a blond a go. It makes sense because we admire the diverse beauty. But people still have their preferences.

  • my guy's celebrity fantasy is rihanna, I so don't look like her, and mine is johnny depp, he doesn't look like him at all. but we can't be attracted to only the same looking people, I mean it would be so boring, and nobody looks alike anyways we're all alike. your guy chose you among all the others non celebrity, feel good about it

  • I don't look anything like my fiance's celebrity crush (Leelee Sobieski and Eva Mendes). They don't look like each other for that matter. Don't worry about it. There's who you like in the real world and then there's the fantasy world. Does he look like your celebrity crush? Don't worry about it.

  • latina women are my ideal girls too but that doesn't mean i dont think other women are really hot. its just a preference, i wouldn't worry about it.

  • It means that his real life does not, and need not, resemble his fantasy life. This is normal and proper.

  • Pop culture and fantasy change every few months, it depends on how long you have been together but I think that you are pretty safe. Not to mention a guy fantasizes about more than just looks. You may have what the others don't.
